Hey, did everybody catch Fr.Groeschel’s “Sunday Night Live” program on 2/19? It will air again on Saturday, at 5 p.m. Eastern time.

(The other Benedicts are St. Benedict, Benedict Arnold, His Holiness Benedict XVI)

Gee, he had a great program about the Church and the need for reform. He expressed something that I know certainly affects many in these forums, that the need for reform has the effect on many of us of “breaking our hearts.”

And, of course, the evidence of the need for reform are the scandals in the church, the priest sexual abuse scandal, Catholics who are pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia, etc.

He says the need for reform is often based on evidence that challenges that the Church is one, holy, and Catholic. I believe that was a quotation from Pope Benedict’s earlier book, “Introduction to Christianity.”

Quite an interesting show.

He says that soon there will be a new program on Thursday nights following the “Life on the Rock” program, and the topic will be the parables of Christ.

Yes I did catch this wonderful program and in fact just view it again as it is aired again on Mondays @ 9am in MA.
I try not to miss his programs…
Fr. Benedict is coming to MA in April for a Men’s Conference and DH and sons will be attending.

If I could pick out just one of Fr. Groeschel’s Sunday Night Live programs, it was the one which aired on 1/22/06 – “The Sacredness of Life” (SND 65 for those who might be interested in ordering it from EWTN). I just got my DVD & CD …Awesome…👍 I think it would be an excellent teaching tool for the so-called “uniformed” on the sacredness of life–those Cafeteria Catholics who just play lip service… Fr. Benedict has an innate way of “convicting” the everyday person.😉

I saw Fr Groeschel at a “Coming Home Network” conference in Columbus Ohio a few years ago. That was my first experience with him. He talking about reforming the church and how the “reformation” starts in each one of our hearts and lives and God shapes us according to his will (if we allow him to). What a fantastic speaker. He has a biting, sharp wit to him that I found to be very funny! I need to Tivo more of his programming on EWTN.

Peace be with you

I’ll make sure I program my DVR to catch Fr. Groeschel’s program!

The show “Parables” is an excellent program! They center on a parable of Jesus, and feature discussions amongst young adults. They have some great and valuable insights! 👍
