To my knowledge, the RSV-CE is not available online anywhere, despite what several otherwise reputable/reliable web sites state.

No apology necessary, Convert. I’ve been known to post a misleading link or two myself.

Seriously, many of us met almost two years ago in a thread entitled “RSV-CE Needs Corrections”. One of the items kicked around was its unavailability on the web, due, we’re fairly certain, to copyright restrictions.

The links you cited have been visited before and examined for authenticity. We use Romans 5:5 and 9:5 as “proof texts”. The real RSV-CE uses “who” for the Holy Spirit; the generic RSV uses “which”. This is what gives it away.

Please stay with us and sample the rest of the waters. You’ll see some outrageous posts by many of us on the various translations, and our opinions are all over the place.
