Wow - awesome. Is the pope on Facebook - I’d like to add him as my friend…😃
 
I am glad to see this. The internet has been used very effectively by the The Enemy. We need to use it now to spread the Church’s message.
 
I’m not sure whether to say “oh good” or “good grief”
 
I just subscribed. It’s like a Catholic version of CNN in that the channel is comprised of Papal news events and the like. I viewed the Papal blessing of the lambs for the feast of St. Agnes. What I also love is that now I won’t have to wait until 3AM every Wednesday to catch the live feed of the audience. Now, I can watch it at my own pace.

I believe that it is a wonderful idea. 👍 My only caveat is that it seems that it’s just geared towards the young, which I don’t believe should entirely be the case. Of course, I don’t feel so bad. The Texas Young Democrats cut off at 45. 😃
 
I am delighted and have subscribed. However when viewing the initial video I noticed this shot:

A radio in place of the tabernacle and the Priest bowing to it as the voice of Pope Benedict XI is played???

I do suppose that enthusiasm can do some very funny things to logic!

Of course I need to correct myself. In my own enthusiasm I called Pius XI, Benedict XI. So it does do funny things to logic!!!
 
This Vatican Channel is the best.
The number of views per videos skyrocketed overnight!
I had to laugh when I saw the very short length of each of the videos. Someone at Vatican website control must know what a short attention span the general public has.

Yes - but are many Catholics tuning in everyday to hear each new message from Pope Benedict?
In my estimation - not enough - according to the view numbers.
Personally - I appreciate tuning in everyday to listen.
