Awwww. :heaven:He must be Franciscan deep down inside. A stray cat, female, showed up about 6 months ago with no collar. About 2 months ago we started feeding her outside to separte her from our 2 indoor cats. Yesterday, she went up to our 30"St.Francis statue in the flower beds and licked the face.
I love this response! I had read somewhere, that St. Clare of Assisi had a little pet cat. And of course, we all know that St. Francis had a great love of God’s creatures. He referred to them as “brother” or “sister”.He must be Franciscan deep down inside. A stray cat, female, showed up about 6 months ago with no collar. We call the cat Bosco, but discovered it was actually a female a week ago.
God seems to put smiles on our faces with his creations.
What luck! I’m sure the Pope would be thrilled to meet either Sasha or Yasmine, but would they be so happy to make the pilgrimage?Way to go, Pope Benedict!
I have two orange tabbies myself, one male Sasha and one female Yasmine. They are our pride and joy. My hubby calls himself “the cat whisperer” as he can get them to do tricks for him. I love Pope Benedict and can’t wait to see him in April. We won the lottery to attend the Papal Mass.
Should I bring one of the cats?
Okay, now with reading the article and this response, I am teary eyed (in a good way). I want to be first in line if Pope Benedict XVI writes this book!He must be Franciscan deep down inside.
