Has anyone on this thread read the article (the hated lecture with the quote that was taken out of context)the Pope spoke of? And that it was not his own opinion but a quotation to prove a point he was talking about. (to intelectuals who were discussing theological things, most of us would not understand)
Read also the Pope’s response and explaination about the talk he gave in which he quoted a Byzantine experor.
The Pope was not trying to provoke like the Danish cartoons. And who was it anyway that brought this “news” to the world?
Probable an anti European Union, anti Christian, anti Catholic person.
And do you know of the violant respons of the Muslim world? (what does it say about these Muslims themselves?)
Probably the Byzantine emporar encountered these kind of Muslims, he didn’t encounter all Muslims, certainly not the usual more moderate ones.
