I couldn’t agree more brother.Guys, the way i see it this guy has been turn to a church that brands itself catholic and only draws people away from the true catholisism.
Is that the best you can do, Semper Fi? Miguel, you character reminds me of this little kid in pre-school wearing a flourecent yellow shirt and saying “Please like me, please like me”I couldn’t agree more brother.
She is never named so this is open to interpetation. That and many believe that the book of the “Song of Songs (or Song of Soloman)” is a description of the relationship between God and his church, if we take your interpetation again that is Mary. I don’t think this is accurate, my church sees it as a guide to married relationships and I think the relationship described in S.O.S. would offend most Catholics if you are stating that this is a personification of Mary. Let me emphaisise this NOT EVERY WOMAN MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE IS MARY, NOT EVERY MARY IN THE BIBLE IS THE MOTHER OF GOD. I especially like the way you have failed to mention how this goes against the Bibles comand to have no other God.…asked Mr Rivas " where in the bible is mary mentioned as divine". Mr Rivas answered “Chapter 12 of the book of Revelation”.

Ok here is a wild prediction, I predict that Ricardo will leave out the last sentance and stay true to form, instead berating those who don’t agree with him and telling poeple he “won’t do their homework for them” when asked tp support his beliefs… let’s watch![]()
We still on the same token. I do not have to prove nothing. The interpretation is not mine. Let's just think for a minute, if worshipping Mary is not part of the Catholic doctrine why would I be having such an understanding? I take it really serious, and I do not play with it. Seriously, if you do not want to call mr Rivas talk to your priest of choice about Mary and the chapter 12 of the book of Revelation.
To me if the Catholic doctrine teaches that our mother is mary, that is good enough because I understand it. And I could do some more research on the subject to satisfy the audience, but I am still in college with double major I am on finals and I am carrying 18 units. I cannot just stop what I am doing to satisfy the audience with something so simple that it could be answered by the local priest. Plus, I would feel better if all of you could go just ask your priest of choice. I gave you a couple of phone numbers so you can expand your knowledge by calling.
And I have another prediction, if you go dig on the subject maybe your career as Catholic will be done.

I mean some body has to do something because the word is spreading, or maybe that is the way it is and you guys do not know about it?Directly from www.Vatican.va catechism on the Vaticans home page971 “All generations will call me blessed”: "The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship."513 The Church rightly honors "the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title of ‘Mother of God,’ to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs. . . . This very special ***devotion . . . differs essentially from the adoration which is given to the incarnate Word *** and equally to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and greatly fosters this adoration."514 The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the rosary, an “epitome of the whole Gospel,” express this devotion to the Virgin Mary.515
Big distinction there between Intercessor and GodShe is our chief intercessor
Ok, can you please explain me what is it with the Mexican people who does not show to mass ever, but have an image of the Virgin Mary on their living room and before they leave the house they worship this image with one or two prayers?I was just thinking, how twisted is it that you have a protestant citing the Catechism to you. If that doesn’t tell you haw far off ya are I don’t know what will!
Okay. A dozen priests say that you are wrong–The Blessed Mother is never to be worshipped. Any more advice?I would feel better if all of you could go just ask your priest of choice.
hahahahahahaha this guy is impossible, please check out the first part that reads:Ok, can you please explain me what is it with the Mexican people who does not show to mass ever, but have an image of the Virgin Mary on their living room and before they leave the house they worship this image with one or two prayers?
I do not have any images in my house or wallet, because I worship Jesus Christ by applying His teachings to my life. Nevertheless, it is something that is happening even as we speak. My only bussiness with the church is the study, and the teachings. Now if you tell me that my Mexican people is not practicing a Catholic teaching, I think I would find something else to do because I cannot deny what is happening, and I just cannot go against the Catholic teachings.
Well what I meant may have been based on a misunderstanding on my part. I was under the impression that Coptic and Orthodox were considered , if I may use the phrase, less than Roman Catholic but more than Protestant.<<(I just made that phrase up!) And my thinking was along the lines of since the Orthodox and Coptics weren’t RC are they part of these false prophet?Any clairification would only do me good, and if you could post a link to another thread , that would be cool too. What exactly is meant by this??
God Bless,
Elizabeth

I am going start collecitng data, please mention the cities and state where this advice is coming from.Okay. A dozen priests say that you are wrong–The Blessed Mother is never to be worshipped. Any more advice?
Like I said before, I take this stuff very serious, and Moday is my last final. After that I am going to start a research on this issue I think is interesting because I know we as Mexicans worship the Virgin Mary and the Saints. That is a fact that I cannot deny because if I did I won’t be taking God seriously.I’m just showing you what the Catholic church teaches, where you go from there is up to you. You can say “screw it” to the whole thing or raise awareness of this mis-conception. Your call.
