Life on Earth is a joke. Here are some things about Heaven (based on private accounts):
Millions of colors never before seen. Sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, thought: everything will be unbelievably expanded.
Music and silence. Music like you would never believe. Silence more peaceful than the best quiet summer night you’ve ever had.
Fellowship. We live in a corner of a corner of a corner of a corner of the world, and the most traveled people in the world die and barely experience a glimpse of humanity. In Heaven, one of the most interesting things are going to be people. And there will be zero shyness or reservation. Everybody will trust everybody completely.
The angels. We’re going to meet our guardian angels and all the other angels, and they’re going to be wonderful; some of the most interesting and fascinating people you would ever meet.
Good works. Once we’re in Heaven, we’re going to move mountains on earth.
Communion with God: unimaginably more ecstatic than the best, most rapturous earthly sex between spouses.
Learning & discovery, without a hint of monotony or boredom. Nature and creation will be unbelievably wondrous and beautiful.
Perfect love.
For everything good that exists on earth, there will be a counterpart in Heaven that is immeasurably superior.
