This falls flat when you look at how much time and energy is spent upon gaining wealth.

For the overwhelming majority of us, to have wealth is to love it.

Like the man who wanted to build more and bigger barns to store his excess grain.

If one has wealth but won’t share it, what good does his wealth really do him? It’s only good while on this side of eternity. Thus the test is to share the wealth

We all understand wealth differently. Bill Gates is supposed to be the richest guy on the planet. He’s also an atheist. I would suggest that makes him one of the poorest on the planet. As Jesus said, what good is it to gain the whole world and lose one’s soul.
