There is an historic event that Iām quite passionate about - The crucifixion of Christ. Iām fascinated by this event because it fulfills ancient prophecy, and historians - generally - can prove it. But the Islamic scripture has the confidence to say that Jesus wasnāt crucified.Hi everyone. Is the Koran historically reliable? Is it reliable in other ways? Why or why not?
So, either history and tradition is wrong, or the Islamic scripture is wrong.

If the original poster has no interest in what I have to say on a matter, then why should I have any interest in what he or she says? If I post an article that he or she wonāt read, then why should I waste my time reading an article that he or she has posted? Such a thread as this is utterly fruitless.

Nonsense. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, not Arabic. The books of Moses were written at the time when the Egyptians called their king Pharoah, and this word was adopted into the Hebrew language as a generic name for an Egyptian king. (eg note the book of Exodus never refers to Rameses II by name, simply by the word āPharoahā).

I also think that this thread isnāt fruitless.and Quran is inaccurate because it is a man created book&it is not the word of God.but muslim fellows will try to prove it as the word of God like they always did

In my opinion, the main point is whether its from God The Most High or not, reliability comes second, and it depends on how do you define reliability, is it the authentic historical facts or being free from scientific and grammatical errorsā¦
We Muslims believe in Quran even if it contains historical, scientific, and grammatical errors, simply its our faith, so we have to believe in it (right or wrong), Islamic clerics teach you that from your early elementary school, and during the faith sessions in the mosques, if we face any contraindication in Quran, we simply say āAllah and his messenger know bestā, and we stop right there.
The problem is with the history of Quran, that I personally find it questionable, considering these facts:

- In the time of the third caliph ācalled Uthmanā, he burned all versions of Quran and kept only one, (E) (A).
- Some verses of the Quran were eaten by a goat under Aisha (Muhammedās wife) bed. (A)
- The Quran of the āSuniā is a little bit different that the one with the āShiatā.

Well, Koran is the best miracle happened. Thatās what Mohamed told. Donāt ask me who is this Mohamed. read Koran. Personally, I seek an afterlife of union with God with no human desires getting the in the way. I could care less about wine and things, let alone a bunch of virgins. In fact, some large group of women would be more trouble than they are worth. The heaven promised by the Quran is earth without sin, not union with God.
