Interesting article by Republican congressman Jim Banks.
I was interested to hear a Pew research study that said only 1 in 6 of the protestors are Black but 4 in 5 are Democrats.
There seems very little self questioning of Democrats asking why police departments their party have overseen and regulated for long periods of time are apparently among the most “systematically racist”. There seems to be very much anger and angst aimed at the ‘generic’ police force but very little discussion about the political party they have served under for very long periods of time.
This gives support to Mr Banks writing that what is happening with the protests is more to do with an anti American mindset that many (especially young) Democrats have been inculturated with.
