That’s fine… I definitely don’t get it. I’m all for prayers of hope, you can have the warfare.I’m afraid you’re just not getting it.

In this context ‘weapon’ does not mean ‘instrument of destruction.’ The Rosary is a means to strengthen ourselves, oppose the Evil One and obtain the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin. Thus is this context it’s a weapon. The cross and turning the other cheek are the gospel. Weapons are for the enemy
How could you possibly consider praying the Rosary “assaulting another being?”If by spiritual weapons you mean hope for conversion of the other - good… if you mean assaulting another being, no so good.
I can’t find it right now, but there’s also one of Mary going after a demon while an angel holds the baby Jesus for her.Wish I could find it, but someone posted a great old picture of Mary punching the devil in one of these threads recently. I loved it! Mary crushes the head of the serpent, we are told. That’s a powerful, violent image.
That’s the one I was looking for!Here’s another one…Hold my baby…
Every time I see that picture I think it looks like the Devil is trying to snatch Mary’s purse.ary is holding the Word of God, but what is the devil holding–a rope, perhaps a chain?
To me, it looks like Mary is going to give the Baby Jesus a good wallop. for having a tantrum.Limoncello4021:![]()
