**Hello,

No matter what I put forth, you misunderstand my comments. so it’s of no use.

Those are your words not mine. I don’t put claim to them. I did study a little about Catholicism on my journey. 🙂
Apparently not enough. I did a lot of study on Catholicism, as that is what the Church requires of those looking to convert. I am not going to claim that I know more about it than you, but I will say that I looked at it with an open mind but also a skeptical eye. I am still learning my faith, as I hope I never stop learning. You obviously took a different tack when you decided you would rather join Islam than actually learn about (apostolic) Christianity. I won’t hold it against you, but I also won’t entertain the idea that you are being honest or should be listened to in your claims against Christianity when you studied only a little about Christianity before leaving it.
Ya know, I felt a sense of pain to tell you the truth. Because although I sang that very famous hymn known by all practically, it was a shame to see that they too, did not understand their belief as they see it.
What does this even mean? How could they not know their OWN belief as they see it? How nonsensical!
It felt bad inside but to them, they just didn’t want to be embarrassed so the subject was changed.
And you know how they felt deep inside how? Are you your own parents? Does Islam make all of its practicioners so sure that they know everything about everyone better than anyone can know themselves and their own feelings? This is frankly getting a little bizarre…
This puts pain to me, not smartness because I want them to wake up and understand what they say instead of just listening and obeying what others tell them.
I agree with this bolded section. I want this for your parents, I want this for you, I want this for me, I want this for everyone who dedicates themselves to understanding God.
but to attribute a book of many faults to one that hasn’t any, their is nothing really to say.
I think you have misunderstood what I wrote. I claimed that Muhammad adapted some Christian teachings, not necessarily Biblical, as many of the things that Muhammad attributes to Christianity are not Biblically supportable. Also, if there are no faults in the Quran, it would’ve gotten the picture of the doctrines it was supposedly correcting right in the first place. Duh.
they believe they are worthy for God to die for them as if they deserve it
What?! Какая ерунда! Who taught you that this is what Christians believe? I have known Baptists, and I have never, ever heard any of them say anything like this. I have never heard ANY Christian of any denomination or sect say anything like this!
Now, this I lay claim to with proofs from the Christians themselves.
That you never show. You have no proofs from Christians themselves, only your extreme distortions of Christian doctrine, the likes of which I have honestly never seen.
According to the Bible, GOD DID…well, yall claim 1/3 of him did
You grossly misunderstand the doctrine of the Trinity, as well.
even went to hell for a bit. Ya call that victorious to send God to hell?
His resurrection is what is victorious. He is victorious over death. As for hell, He is victorious over the Satan and his demons, as well. Christ is ALWAYS victorious, thanks be to God.
Above such things…has no need to prove Himself to His Creations. 🙂
And yet according to the Quran he has the need to challenge his creation to write a better book than the Quran? How does that even begin to make sense?
This is not belittling God, this is raising Him in Status higher than imaginable. I know of God what He tells of Himself to us in His final message to mankind. I don’t second guess His words.
Only when they’re in the Bible, apparently.
I do not explain without proof like yall do.
Or with it…
Looks like the second guessing and not knowing their Creator falls back to yall.
Who can completely know the Creator? And as for second guessing Him, Islam is the faith that claims His previous revelations in the forms of the Torah and the Bible were corrupted despite the fact that He told us that His Word would stand forever and ever. Either God is telling the truth, in which case the Quran and all its corrective finality is not needed (since the Word is not corrupted, in keeping with what God has promised), or that is one of those “corruptions” that the evil ahl al-kitab stuck into their book, and God’s word is NOT actually eternal, in which case: what is the Quran?
The mystery of the Trinity. Amazing. Tell me where Jesus ever said the word trinity or wait, forget that I already know the answer.
Good. I have answered this many times. The word “trinity” is not used in the Bible, but the concept is supported, outlined, and taught (as when Jesus himself commands his apostles to go forth and baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit).
The Quran is not perverted.
I did not say that the Quran is perverted, I said that the Quran perverts God’s Word as it is found in the Bible, because it does.
Because the Quran has one thing no other book has. Allah’s official claim on it.
Uh huh. This isn’t entirely subjective or anything! Of course, Christians will also say that the Bible is also sanctioned (but not written!) by God, because that is what we belief. So all this “that’s what their own belief says” business is just an empty string of words. You too are stating your own belief.
lol sure, like I would do that. I came from Christianity, I respect my family that are still into it
You may love and respect your family, but you certainly do not respect Christianity since you obviously have not taken the time to find out what Christians actually believe (something you apparently never learned while you were a Christian).
Seriously, in all due respect, I did get hurt quite a lot.
I am very sorry to hear that.
My personal salvation was at stake. I was taught to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior all my life and that all you had to do was knock and he will let you in…etc. etc. etc…
Ahhh. I am beginning to see a problem here. You knew a very specific form of Protestant Christianity. I am sorry to say that this is not true, apostolic Christianity. It lacks tradition and the fullness of truth.
I knew what it was to be a Christian and then when you get stunned a bit, you fight back
You knew what it was like to be a certain kind of Protestant Christian and become dissatisfied with the shallowness, subjectivity, and irrelevence of much of what you saw around you. I know what that’s like. I too used to be a Protestant.
Now, if you are taught that God made you in His image, then how come in another place in the Bible it says you have neither seen Him nor heard his voice. Contradiction?
No. Two different parts of the Bible, making different points, and you as the reader being unable to grasp the meaning of the later one.
I know what you say, trust me please, I totally know what you are saying…been there, have experienced it and lived it.
In a way you have in some respect, but I was never Baptist, and I never renounced Christianity because I was fed up with man-made doctrines like sola scriptura.
But now, you have heard my side of things, told you things and have shown you things. You are now responsible in front of your Creator for what you do not try and find out.
Well, thank you for sharing your views, but I will not accept Islam.
Don’t push things aside and call me brainwashed, stupid, dumb, etc. Those are useless words with no meaning to you.
I will not call you brainwashed, stupid, dumb or similar things. That is not my way of discussing things. I will say that you have some very shall we say unorthodox views of Christianity, especially for someone who claims to have once been Christian, but this does not make you dumb. It makes you a person who is without the truth when it comes to the full nature of God, just like any other non-Christian. I don’t wish anything bad for you. Only good things.
I am totally serious. I want the best for you.
Good. Thank you. It appears that you and I are finally in agreement about something. 🙂

I am upon the Selef usSalah. I do not attribute myself to a sect for in Islam, it will as well be divided into 73 sects as stated in Sahih ahadith. I say I am muslim and I prove my stance and I ask other muslims to do the same. InshaAllah (God willing)
He is a Wahabi or Salafi, he is following a deviant or an offshoot of the Sunni sect, Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.

He probably is studying the works of Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Uthaymeen, Bin Baz and the likes,

The sect that he follows was actually founded in the 1800’s. It is a new Islamic sect.

In Christ,

Silouan, the ex-Muslim.

americanrevert, i am most certain that you are not a convert
but, i’ll give you the benefit of the doubt…

i and many others have put our understandings of God ( trinity is just a christian one-word summary ) in various threads, search it maybe you’ll be enlightened.
it would help, if you actually own and read the Bible 😉

not one verse at a time ( unless you’re memory impaired ), but a conceptual, contextual, whole-pictured understanding of it (logic, honesty, and historical knowledge are needed, among others)

but, if you just dont like christanity in general, than good luck with islam

please, dont run amok with those letters, and keep you’re islam inspired anger to yourself and join a contact sport, dont use this forum.

we are well-informed 😛

I never said she was a part of the trinity…but hmm let me ask you this, if she was considered to be the mother of God, then wouldn’t she be higher than God?
of course not. She is the mother of the human Jesus who is the Word incarnate.
I said, discrepancy, not in belief, but something wrong with words, punctuation, contradictions etc.
you want to apply this approach to a book written many prophets and disciples within a large time-span of thousands of years and to different audiences…but we can do the same about the Quran…grammatical mistakes, contradictions, anachronism ecc and the author is supposed to be one and within only 23 years…
I am upon the Selef usSalah.
This posting sums up the doctrine of the massive majority of the Muslims, namely the People of the Sunna and the Congregation, concerning the pre-existent, pre-eternal [sic], beginningless, and uncreated nature of the Divine Speech Allah Most High has named al-Qur’an, as held by the Salaf al-Salihun and as formulated by the two Masters, Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Ash`ari and Imam Abu Mansur al-Maturidi and their respective schools.

Ahl al-Sunna agree one and all that** the Qur’an is the pre-existent, pre-eternal, uncreated Speech of Allah Most High **on the evidence of the Qur’an, the Sunna, and faith-guided reason.

livingislam.org/uncrq_e.html
Ok, let me ask you this, you claim God is the father, IS THE SON, and is THE HOLY SPIRIT. Jesus is part of the trinity which yall claim. UNDENIABLY…so that means a part of God died that day.
The Trinity is one thing, the Incarnation of the Word is another. Same misunderstanding among all Muslims. Jesus’ second nature, the human nature taken by the eternal and uncreated Logos is the one that died…in other words, the lamp can be broken but the electricity does not die out…it is still there…the second nature does not nullify the first nature.
but if you say Jesus is God, the son of God and the holy spirit (the trinity)
we do not believe Jesus is the Father and the Holy Spirit.
those are your words…no God chose men as messengers not angels…if you read through the Quran you can understand why.
Muslims believe the prophets are sinless…they make only “mistakes”, not sins…even Adam who willfully disobeyed God turns out to be a “mistake” in Islam.
Doesn’t really make a difference but I guess that would kinda be a guessing game really since many of the books of the Bible cannot be identified as being totally legit and authenticated by God Himself.
so why are you telling us the Bible does not mention the Trinity? you either believe it does and hence it is all corrupt starting Genesis, or you believe it doesn’t and we can discuss it. Saying it doesn’t and when proven wrong question its validity is not a sound approach.
How can one know the wisdom of God in the Bible when it isn’t from God Himself but my men who have faults?
it was Allah himself who wrote the Quran or men with faults?
And ya can’t say the Bible was inspired without the permission from God Himself correct?
God does give His “permission”.

Isai 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Psalm 138:2 …you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Ya think tradition saves a person from Hellfire?
huh? why do you follow Muhammad’s tradition?
They are your words…I hold no claim to them. You think like this because of what you have been taught. Islam says differently.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His own image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his offspring. He then went away and said: Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of" Mercy of Allah". So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day. (Sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6809; cf. Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 74, Number 246)
Muslims do not attribute any corruption to Allah. They attribute to Him what suits His Majesty in all goodness.
it suits his majesty to insult his words and claims he does not preserve them nor is serious about them?
Moses NEVER TAUGHT IT…nor did any other messenger or prophet (peace and blessings be upon them all). They all taught monotheism, ONE GOD.
you either allow the Bible to speak, not Muhammad, or you don’t…you cannot claim the prophets do not talk about God’s Word and Spirit and when proven wrong claim the Bible is corrupt…in other words, you cannot have the cake and eat…

SIZE="3Hello,

I never said she was a part of the trinity…but hmm let me ask you this, if she was considered to be the mother of God, then wouldn’t she be higher than God?
Did you know that a king’s mother is not always a queen? Is the mother of the president higher than the president? I know that you never said she was part of the Trinity, but the Qur’an said it.
**Ok, let me ask you this, you claim God is the father, IS THE SON, and is THE HOLY SPIRIT. Jesus is part of the trinity which yall claim. UNDENIABLY…so that means a part of God died that day. 1/3 of your trinity…you may deny that he didn’t die, but if you say Jesus is God, the son of God and the holy spirit (the trinity), then you are contradicting your own belief. We are not in discussion about the word of God lol we are talkin human and God. **
No, 1/3 of God did not die that day. God cannot be divided like a pie. THe human nature of Jesus died, the divine nature did not. THis part of the Trinity is not that hard ot understand for those who want to see.
**those are your words…no God chose men as messengers not angels…if you read through the Quran you can understand why. 👍 **
Doesn’t really make a difference but I guess that would kinda be a guessing game really since many of the books of the Bible cannot be identified as being totally legit and authenticated by God Himself. How can one know the wisdom of God in the Bible when it isn’t from God Himself but my men who have faults? And ya can’t say the Bible was inspired without the permission from God Himself correct? 🙂
So GOd cannot make sure men don’t mess up his words? What kind of weak god do you worship?
Ya think tradition saves a person from Hellfire?
They are your words…I hold no claim to them. You think like this because of what you have been taught. Islam says differently.
**I believe you believe in God. I also believe that you have the wrong concept of wanting and trying to prove that belief to others but fail to on account of your belief not being able to be authenticated by your Creator. Is true. You cannot prove that God is the author of the Bible.
Muslims do not attribute any corruption to Allah. They attribute to Him what suits His Majesty in all goodness. WE Muslims do not believe a part of God dies, you do…we do not bring our Creator to that level of degradation. A man god…amazing. “Thou shalt have no other god’s before Me.” Where was the trinity then? Moses NEVER TAUGHT IT…nor did any other messenger or prophet (peace and blessings be upon them all). They all taught monotheism, ONE GOD.**
**
Americanrevert**
And we teach one God. No Catholic beleives that tradition saves. We all beleive that faith in Jesus Christ, Son of God, Second person of the Trinity saves. The Trinity is One God, one is substance, one in Nature. Again, you cannot prove that God wrote the Qur’an. No one ever saw God give him the Book and his signature is not on there. For all we know, it can be a man-made fairy tale. Or something more sinister.

**Hello,

The audacity of some.

I pose no name calling and yet by my own brother in Islam, am treated with it. Actually by labeling anyone a “Wahhabi” you are belittling one of the names of Allah for He is Al Wahhab. I claim to be trying to imitate the companions of Mohammad sws and himself to the best of my capability and wow astaghfirAllah. This is the aim of what every Muslim should strive for. SubhanAllah!

now if one claims to be the mother of Jesus incarnate, this is still making a statement of being so divine that she is the mother of God…You say that *GOD * can and has become man…so, He actually belittled Himself to be inside of a human?
you want to apply this approach to a book written many prophets and disciples within a large time-span of thousands of years and to different audiences…but we can do the same about the Quran…grammatical mistakes, contradictions, anachronism ecc and the author is supposed to be one and within only 23 years…
Yes, most definitely. If it is from God, it never changes correct;) The Quran was delivered over a period of 23 years yes, but everything was written down during his lifetime, witnessed, recorded and stored.

The Selef uhSaleh were the first three generations after the passing of Mohammad (sws). They were considered the best of all. Muslims are to try to be like Mohammad sws and his companions…they were the best examples. May Allah be pleased with them all ameen.

We are not talking about incarnation of the “Word”. We are talking God into Human form as Christians claim. The second nature as I stated before could be blown out. ~in relation to: all out of proportion
we do not believe Jesus is the Father and the Holy Spirit.
ok, but you say that God turned into Human form, yet you pray to Jesus who are you worshiping? The Bible states that the Holy Spirit is Jibril …oh and also JESUS. Which is the truth?
Muslims believe the prophets are sinless…they make only “mistakes”, not sins…even Adam who willfully disobeyed God turns out to be a “mistake” in Islam.
hmmmm a mistake, disobedience is not a mistake. He was not considered to be a Messenger of God (was not given a book like the 5 main books handed down to the messengers) Sure, mistakes happen, but when Allah chooses a man to be His example, He would not choose someone who sins…in the messenger’s right, ONCE A MESSENGER, he is sinless.
so why are you telling us the Bible does not mention the Trinity? you either believe it does and hence it is all corrupt starting Genesis, or you believe it doesn’t and we can discuss it. Saying it doesn’t and when proven wrong question its validity is not a sound approach.
“The Church” teaches the trinity. Jesus teaches the oneness of God. No where throughout the entire Bible, Your Bible did Jesus ever claim to be God. and the words I am cannot apply lol. Something so strict of a doctrine as the Trinity, you would think Jesus would be blastin it all over the New Testament…or even yet, from the beginnin of the Old Testament…but it was “Paul’s” Doctrine, Paul’s Gospel and all the “According to’s” that have been placed and people have misconstrued them into what they wish…since no authorship by God has been given.
it was Allah himself who wrote the Quran or men with faults?
The words of God are kept. You think the book will just APPEAR? You think that Messengers do not have the ability to decipher right from wrong? And most of all, you must not underestimate the power of God.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away
Ok, now, you are quoting the Bible with no proof that it is authentic. This is what I am on about. Sure, there are beautiful words in it, beautiful words from prophets of God(always say beautiful things), but you cannot sit there and tell me that they are 100% of what Isiah has said and we already know that Matthew didn’t write the book of Matthew, so the words of who? God? then why didn’t He claim it was from Him? See my point? So these words are not authenticated by God Himself but by men who took it upon themselves to document what they wished.
huh? why do you follow Muhammad’s tradition?
First of all, His sayings are actions are kept separate from the Quran. Second of all, we are obeying Allah when He told us to obey Him and His last messenger.

I think I misunderstood your statement ealier then lol if I gave that reply…might wanna ask or refer to it again and explain what ya meant.

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 543: Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to him, “Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting (salutation) and the greeting (salutations of your offspring.” So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, “As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi” (i.e. Peace and Allah’s Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam’s salutation the expression, ‘Wa Rahmatu-l-lahi,’ Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam’s creation. …Tell me where does it say “in His Image?” Words were added. Actually the Arabi should be placed next to the hadith and if my son were here, I would ask him to do this but he is not here now. If you wish, I can ask him later and I can post it inshaAllah.
it suits his majesty to insult his words and claims he does not preserve them nor is serious about them?
You must prove your accusation that the Bible is God’s words with His authenticated approval. I am not insulting the words of Allah at all. I would never do that AT ALL. But this is the reason why the last message was sent to mankind. He told us Himself in the Quran. That is why no one can mess with the Quran.
you either allow the Bible to speak, not Muhammad, or you don’t…you cannot claim the prophets do not talk about God’s Word and Spirit and when proven wrong claim the Bible is corrupt…in other words, you cannot have the cake and eat…
The Bible cannot speak. Words of men. I never said that prophets do not talk about God’s words. I say that what YALL CLAIM as being the word of Prophets, even the prophets have not authenticated it being from them! Nor does Jesus, nor does God Himself.

You say, word and spirit when proven wrong…so they can be? Something is most definitely wrong when the Bible cannot prove itself and having the stamped approval from God.

Query:

What is the punishment for apostacy in the three Abrahamic beliefs?

I’ve asked it on two different forums, about 20 times, I would like to hear what Americanrevert believes.

Sorry for the hijack, but in comparitive dieties, I suppose it is a valid question.

Hello

Well, I am not that knowledgeable in the Christian field on “apostacy”. But from little of what I know, in some beliefs (read about catholics) they shun them from themselves; cast them out; excommunicating them.

In Deuteronomy 13:6-10 says THE DEATH PENALTY.

Islam also says but with and after detailed analysis’ and discussions of whether or not the person was understanding why he/she left, and if then they understand better and decide in all seriousness, no penalty, but if they refuse, the death penalty. (Law of Sharia’h)

Many people just disbelieve in certain doctrines, but this does not make them an apostate. Those who reject the main idea of the belief/religion, does.

***Now, if the true message of Jesus was amongst us today~amongst the Christians who profess they have it, I truly believe that that nothing would be changed for Jesus kept to the rules of God. Death. For it was Paul that changed the message according to the Bible.

That is all I really know about it.

So, the penalty in Islam is death?

And this is something you agree with?

no, the quran is not eternal and unchanged, the yemeni fragments variations proved that ( unlike muslims, we’re not afraid of the truth, it is what it is )
plus someone published, thus answered the “make a sura challange”
several years ago.
i have it, do you want some ( i’ll send it to you, and you can check it with your ulamas ), american-fake-revert ? 😃

Hello
she is the mother of the human Jesus who is the Word incarnate…not that hard to grasp…after all, the miraculous birth is meaningless in Islam.
.

actually you are grossly mistaken. The Quran puts mary above all other women on earth and holds her in high esteem. She was granted with having the miracle of Jesus. The Quran reads it beautifully. You should read the story on how eloquently it states and how high a position it holds her to be. 🙂

oh, and we are talkin not of the word incarnate but of God. Jesus was a word??? Since when
did Allah belittle himself when he uttered Arabic words, as a human, in a human language, as if he has vocal chords when Muhammad was bargaining with him?
How can our Creator belittle Himself? lol He isn’t comparable to us…so your question is kinda mute.
so? is that a proof of divine origin, if we assume that what you say is true
the Quran is proof in itself. To have it unchanged is a bargaining tool to just show it’s authenticity to those who are in doubt to its authenticity. Allah doesn’t need to prove Himself to anyone.
ok so you can discuss how the Quran is uncreated and eternal beside Allah
.

Did I say that the Quran was uncreated?
we are talking about the incarnation of the Word.
We are talking of the Trinity…and you keep bringing up “Word”. Since when is Word part of the Trinity? The Father, the Word, The Holy Spirit? Where does Jesus because letters to make a word…thought he was human…a human word? come on
Jesus is the Word of God in flesh…we do not differentiate between God and His Word since He forever possessed His Word/Logos/Wisdom…do you believe God acquired Wisdom at some time in history?
Jesus is the word of God in flesh you say…so HE WAS A MESSENGER AND NOT GOD??? This is what Muslims believe…Messengers are sinless, examples of how their Creator wants them to be, living proof of God through HIS MESSAGE.

You asked me what??? if I believe God acquired Wisdom at some time in history??? I know you didn’t ask me this…the Creator of the universe, you and me, the most complexed creations and you asked me if He acquired wisdom??? I don’t think I really need to answer that, perhaps you meant something else right?? Will give you the benefit of the doubt. 🙂
WHERE if Jesus says He sends the Holy Spirit?
I didn’t say send, I said IS.

The Holy Spirit is called God (Acts 5:3, 4; 2 Corinthians 3:17, 18) and Scriptures affirms Him to be equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is not a lessor Person than the Father or the Son.

as for the holy spirit being Jibril (on him peace), Luke 1:5-20
Adam is not a prophet in Islam?
Yes, Adam is a prophet (not a messenger~there are differences between the two)…but I guess the word would be in Arabi, “m’asum” they do not make mistakes in their propogating the Message of Allah. The word sinless in this is applied…but mistakes are of manly nature.
i can show you were Jesus claims to be God, without the " I AM" and i can show you the Trinity in the OT and NT…so when i do, you’ll shout “corruption” right?
Show me 🙂 am up for it 😃 But ya gotta show Jesus saying it, not words of men saying it. Straight forward.
it’s in OT, NT and tradition. Just because you believe Allah is Wisdomless and Spititless, does not mean the Bible should as well.
HUH?? A’authu billeh (God Forbid), did I ever claim Allah has no wisdom???
where was his power when humans overpowered His words?
Allah has a plan and in that plan, it included the last message from Him. Those that messed up in the past, well, they will be dealt with accordingly.
so stop saying God does not author it because He says He does and Jesus says the same…i will not believe you over Jesus’ confirmation of God’s words… Just say you do not believe in the Bible instead of saying it does not say or that…
Jesus says what??? Where did the book “According to Jesus” come into play? Find it and we can look at it 😃 I believe in the true message of Jesus. I believe in the last message to mankind. I believe in all the books that God gave to all His messengers. (peace and blessings be upon them all).

**Hello trustme,

LOL yes, I have what you call a try quran LOL…no thank you …doesn’t even come close.

thanks anyways.

No Islam is very complex. Trust me. When you read without bias~ness or hate or criticism intended and read with sincerity, you start to see things more in a clearer fashion than what you usually see. That is what took place. You begin to see things for the first time…words that actually are there that just don’t make sense 🙂
You think the Quran makes sense? A book that is put together not in chronological order but by the lengths of the suras?

**
I said, discrepancy, not in belief, but something wrong with words, punctuation, contradictions etc. 🙂 beliefs, everyone can say something about that…that isn’t a contradiction or a discrepancy. It isn’t doubting Allah at all. He said the Quran is for those with understanding. We can all understand what is being said if we have the truth and facts.

What understanding; when it’s filled with nonsensical things like the stars were created as missiles to throw at the jinns! :rotfl:

**
Ok, let me ask you this, you claim God is the father, IS THE SON, and is THE HOLY SPIRIT. Jesus is part of the trinity which yall claim. UNDENIABLY…so that means a part of God died that day. 1/3 of your trinity…you may deny that he didn’t die, but if you say Jesus is God, the son of God and the holy spirit (the trinity), then you are contradicting your own belief. We are not in discussion about the word of God lol we are talkin human and God.
**

You fail to understand anything because you know nothing about the humility of God! You think “Allah” is full of pride and arrogance just like Muslims see themselves. There is no humility in Islam, just fanaticism, megalomania and hype**.**

**
Doesn’t really make a difference but I guess that would kinda be a guessing game really since many of the books of the Bible cannot be identified as being totally legit and authenticated by God Himself. How can one know the wisdom of God in the Bible when it isn’t from God Himself but my men who have faults? And ya can’t say the Bible was inspired without the permission from God Himself correct? 🙂
**

More Islamic arrogance! Did the Quran fall from the skies into Muhammad’s hands?? The Quran was written by fallible humans as well**.**

**
I believe you believe in God. I also believe that you have the wrong concept of wanting and trying to prove that belief to others but fail to on account of your belief not being able to be authenticated by your Creator. Is true. You cannot prove that God is the author of the Bible.
**

Yes, we believe in God but we don’t believe that any word of the Quran is from God! The true author of the Quran is Muhammad since the so-called words of Allah came from him! And you cannot prove any different!

**
Muslims do not attribute any corruption to Allah. They attribute to Him what suits His Majesty in all goodness. WE Muslims do not believe a part of God dies, you do…we do not bring our Creator to that level of degradation. A man god…amazing. “Thou shalt have no other god’s before Me.” Where was the trinity then? Moses NEVER TAUGHT IT…nor did any other messenger or prophet (peace and blessings be upon them all). They all taught monotheism, ONE GOD

So, the penalty for apostacy in Islam is death?

And this is something you agree with?

Hello,

Ya know, I had a feeling questions like these would arise.

Look, when you believe in Islam, the Last Message of God, you are to believe in all the laws of God. You do not take some and leave some. If you do, you are not a true believer.

The laws have not changed. Judaism, (find me Jesus’ words), and Islam, the three major religions all state the same.

What’s different is, people have left their true belief in God. They think how THEY WANNA THINK, how THEY WANNA BELIEVE, how THEY WANNA SEE THINGS, how THEY WANT THE WORLD TO SEE THINGS, and they blame others for not doing the same.

Ya can’t force people to believe what you believe. You can’t treat people with disgust because of a different belief. But what one can do is THINK, with the God given intelligence out there and put their trust in the ONLY ONE WORTHY OF WORSHIP and be guided into truth.

Not by those who demand belief in them and theirs. Islam doesn’t force, but once you believe, once you accept Islam, you are THEN HELD RESPONSIBLE…and God Himself is the judge and His laws are firm.

People who run away from truth are usually ones who can’t face it or are afraid of it.

So it is acceptable to execute someone who decides that Islam is wrong. And yet there is no compulsion in religion according to Islam. This confuses me. Threatening my life, is by definition, compulsion.

So,

Is that a “YES”? You do believe apostates from Islam should be put to death?

Actually, the quote from Deuteronomy was regarding a “false prophet”, not an apostate, so your analogy is false.

It seems to me that you’re the one who keeps trying to force us to accept your beliefs by continuing to “shout” at us!
