i saw the ads for the show and wanted to see the first episode…worried about how the church and nuns would be portrayed… I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t negative/misinformation about the church and nuns. I wonder about the girls who are visiting/discerning. It seems to me that some of them hadn’t a clue what life in convent was all about…i find that very unrealistic…hadn’t they ever been on a retreat? If not, how can they even be close to discernment?
Looking forward to seeing rest of the episodes.
exactly!!!🙂

I’ve been watching it. I am unsure if any of the young ladies will become religious. Perhaps without cameras watching, maybe a few of them may join the religious life.

I think that is the case for three of the five - they are genuinely interested. The last two episodes made me more interested in them. I am getting more irritated with the younger two girls - if they are serious about discerning, they are in the very, very early stages, and need to know a LOT more about their faith whether they end up having a vocation to the sisterhood or not.

One of the girls mentioned in an episode that she had been discerning off and on for nine years, and it definitely showed while they were in Chicago.
👍😃
