Oh, poor baby! I don’t recall Michael Brown being oh-so scandalized by Trump’s “You’ve gotta grab 'em by the p****” maxim. Hard to treat anyone on the Trump-loving religious right as anything but a hypocrite when they complain about stuff like this now. They have lost all credibility.
another uncalled for post that is 100% ad hominem.

If someone were to debunk your claim, one could say that Trump’s comment was locker room talk, a private conversation, and the song in question is publicized and broadcast for all to hear on purpose.

And that somehow make’s Trump’s philosophical statement any less repugnant? I fail to see how. Pretty much a total fail as far as “debunking” is concerned.

Actually it was a good debunking. People make off color comments and jokes when talking privately. Producing repugnant material for consumption has a good word to define it: pornography.

When my kids were young, I use to play decent secular rock music (Yes, Rush, Journey), great Christian rock music (Jars of Clay, Newsboys, White Heart) and classical music (Dvorak, Rimski-Korsakov, Beethoven, Handel) and they loved it. Then one day my daughter brought some of the music to school to let her friends listen to it. They told her it stunk and ever since then she listen to (in my eyes) garbage (Nikki Minogue?, Brittany Spears, Lady Gaga). My son follow suit by listening to gangsta rap (although he is coming back to better music now and realizes the garbage thats out there in the music industry thats polluting young kids these days. Some kids grow out of it some don’t then there are some kids who are never interested in that stuff. How does that happen, God only Knows.

I have to say listening to Father Mike Schmidt, he calls for the same thing and he seems to attract alot of young adults. We need the right people (blessed and called forth by God) to make a better influence on kids than movie stars, singers, dancers, sports stars.

Actually, no. Precisely because I doubt that anyone on the Trump-loving Religious Right would defend someone on the other side of the political aisle if they were to make such an “off color joke or comment”.

So yes, a TOTAL fail.

In the political world? Probably not. Ordinary people? They do all the time.

Oh all politicians are hypocrites, man. Comes with the job, apparently.

Ordinary grown ups can let an off color comment go even if someone on the other side of the aisle says it.

The person in question does not hold himself out as a politician, and would probably deny that his actions are politically motivated. He does, on the other hand, hold himself out to be an expert and leader in the area of “Christian” morality.

I didn’t read the article as being about Trump at all, but abbout the continuing sinking of society into the cesspool of the sexual revolution. Is there a stopping point?

Hmmm. The point about immodesty and pornographic song lyrics are pretty Christian if you ask me.
