The Source of Anti-Semitism?

What is the other religion? We send out charites and nuns, and others who do help to people, and we build schools, churches, help them with farming, irrigation, etc. Muslims send out charity - and their charity destroys churches, rapes the women and children, kidnaps them to force them to marry muslim men or use them as slaves to do as they wish, beheads them, and/or forces them to convert. Christians are the largest group of people who help the poor and also those who find themselves confronted with catastrophe worldwide.

Can you name me one country where they send out as many as we do?

Muslim charities are for muslims. And even those do not help their poor and down and out, but are sent to jihadists to help support them. More of our sisters and priests, and even Christians of other sects who help the poor, have died as martyrs at the hands of jihadists. Our sisters and priests, etc do not do that to them. And the difference between the bad men/women in islam is that there are no laws in their lands that deal, or even care, about bringing justice to these sorts of people who have done these deeds. Sharia law has nothing in it for the infidels - and the law says that if they convert muslims - they are going to die.

We have had bad men do bad things in the name of Christianity and we don’t do that anymore. muslims carry on their jihad against us. Whether it is more in the form of a stealth jihad as we are experiencing here in the USA, Canada and Europe - or a violent jihad as the Africans, Lebanese, etc experience.
 
I agree with you, R. Christianity at one time did persecute in the name of their religion, and they no longer do.

Ancient Israelites also persecuted pagans in the name of the Jewish religion, but we too, no longer do that.

Militant Muslims are the only ones remaining, who have not yet learned not to force their religion onto others. They even attack moderate Muslims for not being as fundamentalist as they are.
 
dear shepharad:),can you show me some moderate muslim;)?in my life i never found a reall moderate muslim except 2 or 3 but all of them are atheist muslim.i never find any muslim who is moderate&religious both at the same time.and for ur information as an ex muslim i met lots of muslims&most of them love hitler(the beast)because hitler killed 6million jew:(.so i never found a real moderate muslim.(i didn’t find but maybe you found)

My raks sharki (“bellydance”) teacher is one. She is a moderate Muslim from Morocco, and while she is very religious (she keeps the class for women only due to modesty concerns, and places curtains up over the windows when we dance, also for modesty reasons), she is not bigoted.

She has been to the Holy Land many times, and does not understand why so many Muslims there hate the Jewish people. She tells me that in Casablanca, where she was born and raised, the Jews and Muslims always got along very well.

In addition to Fatima, I know many moderate Muslims in a group I belong to which is composed of both Jews and Muslims, working to try to achieve peace in the Holy Land.

We recognize that Jews are descendants of Isaac, and Arabs are descendants of Ishmael. Yet we are both children of one father, Abraham.

thanks heaven that atleast you have found a real moderate muslim.you are lucky because moderate muslims are rare;).and about abraham’s example i know everything about the root of muslims because i am ex muslim(from a bigot family).and we also gave some violence reference from muslim scriptures that taught killing non muslims.their scriptures taught hate for non muslims specially for jews.you may read those posts.bless you.
 
You have to remember that there’s an endless appetite for threads detailing the absolute naughtiness of Muslims - any excuse will see threads on entirely different subjects, like here, turn into ‘Muslim ate my hamster’ - it’ll probably go on for several hundred posts.

From time to time, somebody will comment on the original topic but such posts will be immediately swamped with more and more details about the sheer naughtiness of Muslims.
 
oh one thing.i know many moderate muslims who behave very nice with non muslims but when non muslims go away then they start discuss between them that how worst the kafirs(non muslims)are!any way we aren’t the mind reader;)so friend be carefull.thank you.

not only me but also every ppl are under difficulty cause of a group:).&i was giving some references about anti semitism so the discussion about muslims appeared here(but u r correct that all threads not about muslim).so leave it now:).i won’t give anti semitic references:).thanks.bless you
 
As I understand it…anti-Semitic activity and rhetoric has been a staple in the world long before Christianity and Islam… Its been around for thousands of years…

The truth is…the world was based on “tribal” identities in the old times, and still…to some extent it is today.

The Jewish people have striven to remain true to their beliefs… no matter where they settled. This brought about segregation and separatism. They spoke a different language…but yet they could communicate with other Jews in other countries without much or any difficulty.

Arabs and Jews have never gotten along…and yet both are “Semites”…

Anti-Semitism is not a “Christian” invention…

You can find copies of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in Japan, where there are no Jews and where Christianity is practically non-existent. There is anti-semitism among anti-globalization activists, who are resurrecting the old “Jewish bankers control the world” myth. Most of these people are secularists. There is also quite a bit of anti-semitism in Europe and in the academy, both of which are also secular. Like most prejudices, people will use whatever they can to justify it.

only if your definition of anti-semitism is so broad as to be virtually meaningless. antipathy towards jews or judaism on purely religious grounds such as occurred in Europe during the middle ages is called anti-judaism. anti-semitism is a more recent phenomenon which opposes jewishness (or what is perceived to be jewishness by outsiders) on racial grounds.

this isn’t what i learned in my islamic history class in college. jews got along quite well with muslims during the golden age of islamic civilization. there was some persecution of jews in muslim lands, but there is a consensus among historians that jews were better off living under muslim authorities during this golden age than were their co-religionists in Europe.

i think it’s accurate to say that many muslims today have a problem with zionism and what they perceive as injustices it has caused for fellow muslims; but that’s very different from saying jews and muslims have never gotten along. israel was only established in 1948.

right on. there’s nothing intrinsically “christian” about anti-semitism, in fact it repudiates everything Christ taught. however it is a Western phenomenon that spread outward from there. Western and Christian are not exactly the same thing, especially from the modern period on.

St. Chrysostom explains why Jews are no better than animals and why its no sin for good Catholics to murder them.

Just because the term antisemitism was coined in 1860 it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist before then.

The “segregation and seperation” in Christian Europe of which you speak was a direct result of Christian antisemitism.

I would never deny that there was “anti-semitism” in Europe, nor would I ever deny that much of it was fomented by “Christians”. I would be a liar, and guilty of trying to pander off revisonistic history…something I despise.

What I was simply saying was that “anti-semitism” isn’t a Christian invention. It existed prior to Christ… Even the Old Testament tells of the enmity between the Jewish People and the different gentiles… the Phillistines, Samaritans and others were enemies of the Jewish people, no?

But then…does that constitute an oxymoron? I mean considering that Arabs are considered “semetic” as well? No, not trying to be funny…it was a thought that popped into my head as I wrote this… I guess the reality of it is…is that most people don’t really understand what “anti-semetism” really is…

Anti-semitism is a foul and odious thing, of that there is no doubt.
