In an interview, an English Catholic official speaks of the significance of the Pope’s visit to England in light both of its religious heritage and of its role as the vanguard of the culture of death. He speaks of the existing anti-Catholic bias there, the media, and the hope with which many are waiting for the pope. This interview is at

I am so very proud of our Pope, he will walk in there with a smile, greet everyone he meets with a blessing and fear no one. I wish that I could be by his side or somewhere near to support him.

Didn’t the UK Bishops denounce him?
One or two have acted a bit like Peter: “I don`t know the man!”.

Certain ecclesiastics in England and Wales don`t seem to have learnt anything from events which have occurred since the days of Saint John Fisher.
His words: “The fort has been betrayed; even by those who should have defended it.” are more relevant today than they were when he uttered them.

The significance of the colour maroon has been forgotten.

Please Pray that the Holy Fathers visit here will help to re-invigorate Catholicism in these countries
