Not sure if this is in correct category…😐. This is a short challenge and worth the time…

That was hard for me to watch the whole thing. I was hoping he would eventually get around to actually address Fr. Sosa’s comments about Satan, but he never did.

Who is this random dude from the internet anyway, and why were you (OP) so impressed by him. He had nothing of substance to say. He was very preachy and self-righteous sounding with him using the third person usage of the word “you” about 200 times.

How in the heck can believing Catholics believe the devil is only a symbol? I’ve met the devil and his angels and they’re as real as a gunshot.

Thank you for the upload @Divine3 - Brian’s given a very valid and honest point between dissenting Catholics that does not represent the Catholic Faith and Catholic doctrines.

I feel that his video helps address for those who are confused. He encourages those to go and search the Vatican files on the subject. Nice and to the point.

The same can be applied to Fr J Martin as Fr Sosa. Dissenters without any way of explaining why they dissent from centuries of teaching of saints and theologians … except for ego
Ditto all the people who think their liberal progressive theories must be the right ones.
Yeah go tell those to St Athanasius

Believing, practicing Catholics believe that the devil exists (yours truly being one of them). Modernists do not.

Yep, those who believe themselves wise, become fools. The truly wise are humble before the superior wisdom of Tradition.

And It’s coming from more than that source. Example: https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/exorcists-to-jesuit-head-satan-is-real-45628

That said,

After his 2017 remark generated controversy, a spokesman for Sosa told the Catholic Herald that “like all Catholics, Father Sosa professes and teaches what the Church professes and teaches.

Problem is, the current Satan remark was made this month, and when it says a “spokesman” for Sosa, defends what Sosa said, the spokesman’s name isn’t mentioned in the article. And he got pushback for his comments.

Life gets more challenging each day, but if we choose truth we are heading in the right direction. Just like saint John the Baptist…a truth teller. He might have lost his head but not his soul.
