*Dear Gary,
I believe that in this “other half of the third secret” when it refers to “In Fatima the Dogma of the faith will always be preserved” Our Blessed Mother is basically saying that: "All Dogma of the Faith shall be preserved. If we are to listen to her message we need to also preserve all Dogma of the faith.
She does not say Dogma up to a certain point in history, like before Vatican I or II, and not after a certain Pope or Saint, like St Pius X, St. Thomas Aquinas or St. Thomas Moore, but all Dogma*.
Now it is my understanding that in preserving something one needs to protect it not to try and tear it to shreds.
It was in reading of the Pope’s visit and the Queen’s address to him that made me remember about the wedding invitation of the King. Why does it “seem” that our Apostolic Leaders get more support from non catholics than those that profess to be catholic?
May God Bless you too,
My brother, I don’t honestly know what Our Lady was referring to, But your right “we” must preserve the dogma of the faith.
I believe that her referrence {Our Ladys} is found in Revelations and in the message of Our Lady in Akita. Which has been noted to be the same message as Fatima. And I also believe that we are reaping what we sowed through the changes of V-II right now. I also believe Pope Benedict is one solid. solid, apostle of Jesus Christ. And that we can and will overcome this issue. The suffering of our Pope is a further indicator of these changes which he bears the weight for, as we all do with him. When he is humbled, then so we must be.
We are fortunate we have many to draw strength from, we must constantly be gratefull for that which we do have. And make amends where we must when looking back at failures.
You know as much as I live in the Spirit of Reverence for the Blessed Mother. I never, ever forget Christ in his trials with Pilot, Calvary or the Cross. When Christ carried the Cross, and he stopped and told the women, “Don’t cry for me, cry for yourself and your children. If they do this to me in the Greenwood, what do you think they will do to you in the dry?”
Well, after reading about all the Martryed Saints, and all the evil and chaos of today. I’m sure that anything will go just as Christ mentions. So we must protect the Mystical Body of Christ which is God, the church. Just as Christ stood for God. We must strive to model ourself, and Stand for God in these trying times.
Its not by chance God had his church grow in the US. Its not by chance there was the baby boomer generation and all those cradle catholics. God knew exactly where he wanted you to be placed. We didn’t leave England and build this counrty for naught. All the early Documents in this country are signed by 85% Christians. We arn’t going quietly into the night. What I believe we must do, is disturb our comfortability for the preservation of the Church right now. And I believe in the end, our outcome with be a direct result of our (name removed by moderator)ut in Gods church. We must think of our children and theirs now. We simply cannot lose another generation of children.
When the Dogma of the Faithfull is referred to. I try not to read into Marys mind, I can’t, I just can’t begin to assume what Our Lady mean’t without her specific explaination. Yet I do know that if you think about it literally first. as we do the Bible. Then this could also simply mean, that there will always be the faithfull in Portugal. That it will always be preserved their. And rightfully so. But it doesn’t mean there will be no faithfull anywhere else, like many would like us to believe.
The last stronghold of Christianity is here in the America’s. Thats how I see it. Whats Gods will for us? To stand for him, regardless of turmoil, conflict, or controversy. What will come of the USA? Thats will depend on our faith, in the Holy Spirit. But if Americans continue to abandon the Church and Christianity, then we will suffer here. Gods wrath will come, it always does when there in a shift in the balance of Good and evil. The only question remaining is when?
The next decade must be a victory for the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Holy Trinity. Just as Pope Benedict mentions in his Homily in March 2010. And I already see a positive change. Our efforts are not in vain. But we have to remain focused on this period. We are knee deep in mud. Now we must either stand for God or suffer great loss.
Finally when we begain to speculate on “Secrets” the longer we speculate, the longer it takes to come to a conclusion. I conclude that I place all my faith in God and his Church, thus the Pope.
You now we also have Medjugorge. and the “Secrets” there. And I know the Vatican keeps a close eye and investigates all this. But what are we to make of all these “Secrets”? We have Gods word to live by first and foremost always. And as I continue to testify to and you do also, he is the Church.
Great kicking it around with you, you opened my mind to other avenues of thinking. When we can evaluate each others thinking with open minds. We can finally and ultimately reach Truths.
God Bless. Gary
