The history we know has actual FACT and not made of the stuff of fairytales, which is the history you know.

In Algeria? Algerian Muslim students in the Houston admit that those who convert from Islam are killed in their country.

In the Sudan? Muslim are enslaving and selling women and children of the Dinka tribe according to the London Economist. The May 4, 1992 special ed. of Newsweek on slavery also reported that Muslims are still enslaving blacks as did the Austin American Statesman on 2/2/1996. Reader’s Digest 3/1996 p.77-81 “Slavery’s Shameful Return to Africa” is a heart-wrenching account of oppression today. Also, mosques are being bombed by Muslims of different groups.

In Egypt? A Muslim doctor was stabbed by a Muslim extremist. His crime? - treating a Christian stabbed by a Muslim extremist.

In Iran? On 13/3/1990 Iranian Christian pastor Rev. Hussein Soodmand was taken from his prison cell and executed because 21 years earlier he had converted from Islam to Christianity. Besides Christians, Baha’is, Sufis, and Zoroastrians have also been killed by government authorities.

In Afghanistan, the Sunni Taliban massacred about 3,000 Shi’ite Hazaris. This was probably in revenge for Hazaris massacring about 2,000 Taliban fighters earlier in the war.

In Tajikistan, there has been a brutal civil war that pitted Muslims against Muslims.

In Pakistan, a teenage girl was executed for converting from Islam to Christianity. Small Muslim sects, such as the Ahmaddiya, are by law persecuted by the authorities in Pakistan.

In the Qur’an? “Kill them, and Allah will torment them by your hands. He will humiliate them and give you victory over them…” (Sura 9:14) “Fight those who believe not… even if they be People of the book [Christians and Jews] until they have willingly agreed to pay the Jizya tribute in recognition of their submissive state.” (Sura 9:29)

In Iraq, so far I have not heard of any persecution of Christians more than any other groups. Perhaps Iraq today, that pristine paragon of peace, is where Islam is most like a religion of peace.

Conclusion: Islam is the most warlike and violent major world religion today.

In both of these verses translator translated “قاتلوا” to “kill”!!! But if Quran want to say kill it must say “اقتلوا”. It seems translator didn’t know that “قاتلوا” is a collective verb and means “fight”

now let’s look see agian. first verse (Quran9:14) didn’t talk about Christians as last verse shows talks about pagans of Mecca who banished prophet Muhammad. they had a peace treaty for 10 years by muslims but they perfidied and killed some muslims, Quran in answer of their perfidy ordered muslim to fight them and You must number of persons killed in mecca after this order was less than 10. They who killed was great enemies of Islam.

and about second verse this ordered to fight to force them to give jaziah and not to kill him. talks about persons who who do not believe in God or the last day, and they do not forbid what God and His messenger have forbidden, and they do not uphold the system of truth; from among the people who have been given the scripture, are Christians so?

truth hurts?
If you really did trust and truly believe in your religion, you would be able to present a reasonable debate, but instead you choose the ignore button. This just proves how false and how hard to stand up for islam compared to standing up for truth which is Jesus! Believing in the truth is so easy to stand up for friendship, why not let Jesus come into your heart and learn the truth?

But, what about the other people getting killed in the other proof that i have given you?
You still wont answer about the history line nor the other murders done by muslims.

There will always be disagreement about what the koran “says”…even among muslims…especially among muslims. I ask what difference it makes what the koran directs when muslims worldwide are at war with all other religions? A few adherants of other religions chose to resist…to defend themselves, others just endure the violence of muslims as long as they are able. What is absolutely unbelievable to me and many others is the failure of the western media to deal with the violence…the intolerance…the persecution.
If there is any response to this post from a muslim…it will be that the Bible has violence in it too. That may be true but it is also irrelevent as Christians are not killing, burning, raping in order to show muslims how superior their religion is…or to please God with how willing they are to murder their neighbors. What a wonderful god to worship…not.
This situation reminds me of the parallel universe that some of our fellow humans exist in and it doesn’t seem to be getting any improvement. If you westerners want to stick your head in the proverbial sand…ok but when you finally pull it out don’t blame the people who warned you:shrug:
