Cardinal Burke said he believes persecution may be looming for the U.S. Church. “Yes, I think we’re well on the way to it,” he said, pointing to areas of social outreach – such as adoption and foster care – where the Church has had to withdraw rather than compromise its principles.
This trend could reach a point where the Church, “even by announcing her own teaching,” is accused of “engaging in illegal activity, for instance, in its teaching on human sexuality.”
Asked if he could envision U.S. Catholics ever being arrested for preaching their faith, he replied: “I can see it happening, yes.”

Not to be the bearer of good news, but eventually the inflationary policies and hedonism of the West will fall upon its sword. If Christians remain vigilant, strong, and above all fertile like rabbits (if you catch my drift ) then we will slip into a new Dark Age (which wasn’t so “dark” when you consider how backwards and inhuman the Roman Empire truly was).

Seriously it’s time people look at the depressing world of the 20th and 21th century and then look back to Rome and then the so called “Dark Ages” and Medieval Ages and realize that Petrarch was a [donkey’s behind] when he claimed Rome was all the “wiser” than the Dark Ages…The Peasant in the Medieval Ages worked an average of 20 hours a week and 8 weeks of time off per year for holidays and only needed to give 50 days of work for housing and food as opposed to the 80 days we do now.

If you really look at it…us “enlightened” secular folks are far more backwards in many aspects than our Medieval predecessors.

Here’s to a new Dark Age that brings the Church back and kicks out the knavish godless secular institutions!
