I didn’t realize Mary was so tall, compared to little Joseph.

I’m sorry, is this another underhanded slap at our faith? Is someone laughing at us here?

Reminds me of these

Looks Ike the invasion of the body snatchers!!! I never saw the movie!

I understand it’s from the 70s. Figures.
Aren’t they on lockdown again in Rome?
Between that and the travel bans, almost no one will see it. Maybe that’s why they scheduled this one for an un-busy year.

At least the donkey looks like a fat donkey and not a space creature.

It looks much better at night. Maybe it was designed to be seen in the dark with the proper lighting on it. The figures look pretty lifeless in the daylight.

Well, not my cup of tea, if I may say so.

Sadly, I see that some in the trad blogosphere are using it as an occasion to persecute the Church and the Holy Father.

He certainly gave them plenty of ammunition with this one.

Bwahahahaha! That’s ridiculous. It looks like ancient astronaut stuff.

Mary looks like one of the gals from pnk at monster university

I shouldn’t be reminded of Alien or H. R. Giger when looking at a nativity scene!
