Amen baby, that’s what I wanna hear! Our Lord Jesus Christ will come down from Heaven on the clouds, in glory, with all the Angels and Saints, like lightning from the east to the west; and every eye will see Him, and every knee will bend before Him. Maranatha!
I think he will come (on clouds obviously) looking very Godly and most likely covered in amazing light like the sun. Don’t you think?I often wonder about how He will come (second comming). Looking back, the Israelites thought the Messiah would come as a great and mighty king. Well, He did, but not quite how they were thinking. So I often think He may come somewhat differently than what is commonly thought…
But when!? No one has said when…Well, the Angels did tell the Apostels “don’t you know? He will come in the same way he left”. So on clouds would seem to fit very neatly with what the Angels told us.
Now of course we’re going to have to deal with quite a lot before that happens![]()
Matthrew 24:36 - “But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”But when!? No one has said when…![]()
Okay, thank you.
Well if you believe this authorOkay, thank you.
But when do you think it might happen?![]()

We are already living revelation now. The book does have an impramatur so it doesn’t violate faith or morals. Of course there’s the trick issue of “No one knows the hour but the father”. So while I encourage you to read it because it’s interesting, I wouldn’t necessarly accept the conclusions as they’re presented.
I don’t like to guess it myself…So anyone feel like to some extent Revelation for us is sort of like what the Old Testament was to the Jews prior to Christ? We have it, but it’s essentially closed to us. I know probably no church authority would say such a thing… But Revelation is about the end time, and it was made abudnetly clear to us that we haven’t been told much about it.
so it’s like, we have it all sitting right in front of us, but we lack a frame of reference to completely understand it all. Again I know there is no official church support for this sentament of mine, so if you want to call me out there then I guess I have to agree. But still, it’s just a random thought/feeling I have… And I do happen to be in a 20 week study of revelation.
I’m 50/50 on the idea. Of course I like the idea of being here to (?) be caught up and meet the lord (?) when he comes for the second and final time. But of course getting to that point means enduring the anti-christ to the end. So one the one hand you have the applealing aspects of being there to meet christ, on the other the rather unappealing aspect of having to “endure to the end” the persecutions of the anit-christ which well… would be at least as bad (I gather) as what the early Christians endured.Hmm, I’ll have a look but I really hope the end is during my life time…

Could you elaborate here? Are you suggeting that we each individually live Revalation (to John) in the last hour of life?Has anybody ever thought that all live through the Revalations of Jesus Christ, perhaps in the final hour of life?
I dunno. Revelations does address all.Could you elaborate here? Are you suggeting that we each individually live Revalation (to John) in the last hour of life?
Well then I’m not sure how to respond. I don’t believe what is being described is in anyway an individual experience. I also never suggested that Revelation didn’t “adress all”, or in other words contain the full story of say, the end of the world. I did however suggest that the full story is not yet, open to us. Much like the old testament was closed to the jews, and only reveiled through Christ.I dunno. Revelations does address all.
