About 2 million young people from around the world are expected in Krakow to attend the World Youth Day and meet the pope, Many come from the allegedly godless and atheistic West European countries. Is this a sign that the next generation of Catholics, the young people of today are returning to the church? What is your take on this phenomenon?

I think yes, and in years past, there’s the rising secularism, New Atheism, relativism, New Age movement, and modernism, *but there is a new orthodoxy among Catholics that has been emerging. *

I also think that the Latin Mass will be much more common, because of Apostolates like the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, and growing interest from younger generations, who may not have experienced it as much.

I also hope that there will be an increased unity between the SSPX and Orthodox groups, that they may soon come into Communion with Rome.

I take it as a sign that young people with the means continue to enjoy opportunities to travel and participate in international celebrations with other young people.

I agree that this is probably the main reason for most.
Hopefully it plants seeds, though.
