I wouldn’t be consumed by the contents written in threads like this even if there is a remote residue of truth in it.

Surely there are far more important things to worry about in our lives than sensationalistic information like this (“Zeitgeist Revolution”) that incites unwarranted fears.

I wouldn’t give two wooden nickels listening to this stuff.

I always enjoy a good conspiracy theory. I’ll listen with tongue firmly placed in cheek. But I couldn’t even get through the first 6 minutes of this on youtube.

I am not paranoid or anything but there are larger forces at play, that is for sure.

In these trepid times, I suggest a few things to everyone, in this order.
  1. Buy a gun. You have the 2nd amendment, use it. With it, you are a citizen, not a subject.
  2. Buy gold and silver. The dollar is worthless and gold is a safe haven. Silver, if you can get it, is freaking cheap right now.
  3. Buy a Bible.
  4. Pray.
That’s all the advice I have got. Any other suggestions?
How about 5) Take a Valium and relax.

Good Lord… if you obsess on something too long or too much, you’ll create your own worst-case scenario.

These are rough outlines of what I have found from Zeitgeist. I’d be interested to see what people think about these conclusions.

Well said. I chuckle at some of the earlier responses. “So there was absolutely NOTHING in the ninety minutes that you agreed with?”

Some of the info was very lucidly presented (like the explanation of arcane banking matters that gives me a headache trying to understand it); side by side with conjecture that I think was too conspiratorial.

Great movie for a discussion group, though…! It’s hard to keep quiet watching it…

Then I suppose you can sympathesize with me - I had to watch the whole d**n thing for a class. The class was supposed to be about American foreign policy, but would have more accurately been called Conspiracy 101. I think my professor actually believed this baloney.

Especially once they launched into their commercial for “The Venus Project.” My son heard me laughing and had to come in and watch it, too.

I actually enjoyed that! It was very reminiscent of the economy/worldview of ‘Star Trek’ (which I mean as a complimnet!); that is, money takes a backseat to higher priorities.

My first reaction was to roll my eyes, but the more I thought of it, I think that the idea reflects some creative problem-solving.
