The way I see the whole “christ killer” charge is thus:
Since Christians believe that Jesus died for THEIR sins, then that means each time a Christian commits a sin, HE is crucifying Jesus all over again. And it means that since his belief system says that Jesus died for his sins, HE put him on that cross, not the Romans, and not the Jews.
But let’s suppose the Romans and Jews DID in fact crucify Jesus. Well, if that is the case, and Christians believe without the death of Jesus they would not have forgiveness, doesn’t that means Christians should THANK Jews and Romans for doing the deed?
