No argument there, not from me anyway. However, Trump is far from the reincarnation of Hitler that some people like to believe in their deluded views of reality.

Those stats are kept and the number of victims of mass shootings is not that large to total shootings.

And in fact, some gun stats were run by last week, as many as 60% of deaths involving guns are suicides.

For those who don’t have time-. Trump in Florida doing his best to incite his mob. He asks rhetorically regarding immigrants “how can we stop them?” And someone in the crowd shouts “shoot them!” To which the crowd errupts into cheers. And the President of the United States laughs, and jokes.

And we’ve seen the consequences of his rhetoric and his supporters’ thinking in bloody pavements with bullet casings strewn about.

All time low unemployment rates for minorities, saving Christians and Kurds and Yezidis in Iraq/Syria, Something that Jennifer Rubin should probably think about as she is very much mentioned frequently per neo-conservatism.

The question more, is what would have been lost if one did not vote for Trump. Best vote I’ve made ever probably.

I don’t feel the need to justify my vote.I watched the primaries it was just the same old same old.Oatmeal ,Trump is gettin’ it done!🙌

The same thing happened in 2012. And 2008. And 2004.
 
Seems we are being told to throw our support to the same people who support the leadership of Chicago and Baltimore. If that’s what is coming to my neighborhood, no thank you very much.
 
First, statistics are for 2014 and article is from 2016 when the Republicans were still in the majority of the House. Couldn’t you have drawn from a more recent source?

Second, 35 cities listed. Only 11 have any Republican Representatives and that was as of 2014. Only 2 of the top 11. Since the Democrats took the House back, how much worse does that look?

Third, there’s a general refusal to have a civil discussion about mental health and the lack of fathers. Perhaps you should own that too.

US House of Representative members have no official role in city government. A better metric would be mayors and city councils. I don’t think any of the cities listed in the article as having Republican House members have Republican mayors or city councils.

voters have short term memories. Many of us remember how Ross Perot split the Republican Party allowing the election of Bill Clinton. They may have not thought they were throwing their vote away but they did prevent the Democrats from winning.
