There is no excuse for supporting this president

George H W Bush’s lead strategist was a white nationalist leader?
He said the “n” word in what sounds to me like derision directed at those who said it in times past.

That will qualify you as a “white nationalist” with liberals nowadays. That’s one of the new “n words” liberals use on any person who doesn’t agree with them on promoting abortion.

Former Iraqi lawmaker says number of Christians leaving Iraq rising
In 1980, 1.8 million Christians lived in Iraq; however, unconfirmed data in 2014 showed that only 400,000 Christians remain in Iraq,” Slewa stated.

When the so-called Islamic State emerged in Iraq in 2014, the Christian population was forced to take refuge in the Kurdistan Region or immigrate abroad to escape religious extremism and political instability.

According to the former lawmaker, after the 2003 liberation of Iraq and the Islamic State’s military defeat, successive governments in Iraq continue to discriminate against certain religious minorities, forcing the Christians to leave the country.
See, Islamic State rose during Obama’s administration. They are still leaving because they had been decimated so badly but at least, at this point, the genocide is not prevalent.

I’d hope Rubin could care about this, she’s always been anti-Trump, so, I don’t really care what she says. She offers no better way.

Rants repeated that are false and insulting are so tiresome. Consideration for the values of Americans who are pleased with their elected President isn’t too much to ask. The complete disrespect presented in this thread is inflammatory and uncalled for. Many people are broken hearted, grief stricken, and will remain so due to the acts of psycho hate - do not suggest that President Trump has engaged in any such behavior. If you do not care for his communications with voters at rallies - remember these are spontaneous, extremely large crowds that are peaceable, you can avoid listening. Allegations of hatred is false and actually is hateful to express.

I should hope the President of the United States would have the tact and will to put a stop to something vile like that.

The fact is his rhetoric breeds that sort of thing. It makes hateful people feel they can come out of the shadows. If their “values” are to laugh and cheer at shooting immigrants, those values deserve no consideration at all. He’s the President. He should be held to a standard. At least John McCain had the spine to stand up to a supporter when they were going off unhinged.

But no, Trump laughed about it. He cracked jokes when the idea of murdering people was shouted out at his rally. That is conduct unbefitting the local dog catcher, let alone the President.

A racist President wouldn’t be bragging about the low minority unemployment rates to his supposedly racist supporters, and his supposedly racist supporters wouldn’t be applauding at it’s mention.
It doesn’t matter. According to this decades’ old demagoguery, both Bush 41 and 43, Dole, Romney, and even the recently “knighted” McCain were all racists, too.
His son-in-law is a Jew but he’s anti-Semitic.
Carson and other blacks who know him and say he isn’t racist, well, their voices don’t match the color.
It is intentionally divisive for political reasons.

Your are mistaken and contributing to misinformation and hatred. There is more than enough of that noise from street thugs and rabble rousers - it has no place on CAF.

What do you see in that video I wonder? Tell me how I’m mistaken.

In 2008-2009 quite a lot of people lost much of not most of their net worth, including Trump.
Only if you sold. Otherwise, it was all just temporary and on paper.

It wasn’t a lot better when G.W. Bush was president. He wasn’t hated as much as Trump, but the hate spewing by the left was relentless.

That’s rich, abortion policies are wiping out about a 3rd of black babies conceived in the US, in NY that number is probably close to half. That’s the work of the Democrats.

And it is in keeping with the intention of Planned Parenthood’s founder, a racist eugenics proponent.

Making fun of American politicians has been part of American media for years.

Through the 70’s Chevy Chase on Saturday Night live portrayed Gerald Ford as a bumbling idiot.

Here is another one from the 70’s. Gerald ford (Chevy Chase) and jimmy Carter (Dan Akroyd).

One of my favorites is Phil Hartman playing Bill Clinton

Another Republican would never have been elected over Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
People keep saying that but I don’t see it. Hillary had enormous negatives. Trump wasn’t the Republican savior. He was the person fewer voters wanted to be President. By millions. A traditional Republican would have done much better against Hillary.

But Trump’s description of Cummings’ district is NOT the truth. The district is the second-wealthiest majority black district in the country; it consists of people who are well-educated; it is somewhat more than half black, more than one-third white, and also consists of a sprinkling of Asians and Hispanics. It is NOT destitute or rat-infested, but largely middle- to upper-middle class.

I believe it was Nixon who was caught stating his preference for aborting fetuses of interracial couples.
I believe it is the Democrat party that has abortion in it’s platform and that funds Planned Parenthood overwhelmingly millions of dollars a year. I wasn’t aware Nixon sat on the Supreme Court, thanks for the history lesson. I believe it was Barak Obama who voted four times against the Born Alive Infant Protection act.

Say, if we are making these arguments about 50 years ago, why should it not be 50 years before 1973 too when Roe was handed down. What is that? 1923??? Does one really want to go there?

Why then did the Republicans prefer and choose Trump in the primaries?
