There is no such thing as evil and pain, because God cares not

God chose to feel pain and be directly affected by that and by depression. Jesus was upset at times, especially in the Garden of Gethsemane - he was upset, afraid and feeling very inadequate and depressed. His death was atrociously agonizing by anyone’s standards. How can you say these things when I know you know this?

Besides, what happens on Earth is not all that important, except for getting saved. The poor and sick have an almost guaranteed ticket to Heaven, as long as they live decent lives. Three billion people in the world live on two dollars or less, so that is a lot of people going to Heaven. Jesus is the Father of the poor, so you know that the poor are highly favored.

The only thing we have to do on Earth is work out our salvation. Heaven lasts forever, and if you miss it, it is a shame. It is so easy to do the right things; and all over the world, the Catholic Church is available to the masses so they can easily learn what is right. Do it, and do not complain. When you are in Heaven, it won’t matter to you what happened on Earth.

In the Love of Christ,

Mother Mary Victoria

No, God does not feel pain or emotion. He felt it when he was human, but now he is not human anymore and is no longer subject to people attacking him.

This is what I’ve been saying, what happens during our lives doesn’t matter, God isn’t bothered.

Not human anymore? So what exactly WAS it that ascended into heaven at the end of Jesus’ earthly life then? And what is it that is there in heaven still? And what is it that will come back in the same manner at the end of time as the angels promised the Apostles?

Was it a mere simulacrum of a human body? A mere ghostly apparition resembling a body? A lump of chopped liver that didn’t matter (if so, then why bother taking it to heaven?)

Not a bit of it - it ate (and presumably could still eat) fish, and was perceptible to Mary’s and Thomas’ touch, remember? Ghosts and apparitions certainly don’t behave like that!

Jesus ascended in a REAL, though glorified, human body, and is in heaven STILL in a real, though glorified, human body, such as we all will possess there after the Final Judgement. And will RETURN to Earth in the SAME very real, though glorified, human body!

Jesus didn’t just borrow a human body or human emotions for a little while, He BECAME human. With all that humanity entails - including the fact that that humanity persists even in heaven! There is no salvation, no redemption, of humankind unless He truly became, and truly remains, human as well as God.

We won’t cease to be human in heaven, we won’t even cease to have bodies, at least not permanently. And we will certainly feel emotions in heaven (as the voices of the martyrs crying out for God to deal His justice upon the world in Revelation indicates). Why on earth do you think Jesus is any different? He is like us in all things but sin, including emotions.

Jesus is not in human form right now, that would be heresy to say so.

Where does the Church teach that Christ is currently NOT in possession of the same glorified human body in which He ascended to heaven? Quotes and citations, please.

On the contrary, Zundrah, I point you to this passage of the Catechism:

"663 Henceforth Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father: “By ‘the Father’s right hand’ we understand the glory and honor of divinity, where he who exists as Son of God before all ages, indeed as God, of one being with the Father,*** is seated bodily ***after he became incarnate and his flesh was glorified.546”

So yes, in heaven Christ possesses both body and flesh, albeit glorified body and flesh. None of this is to indicate that any of His humanity, including His emotions, is lacking any more than any of us will be lacking in humanity when we go to heaven.
