Actually, the scripture you quote is not stating what you do in your summary.Those whom God moved from Adam to Christ are in Christ forever… to the praise of His glorious grace.![]()
If it is forever, the we are back to the question from before.
You see ‘in’ as ‘always in’.
I see that when we sin, we are choosing to separate ourselves and are no longer ‘in’.
If you are ‘in’ Christ, regardless of your sin what IS Jesus telling the apostles to do? What does Jesus mean when he tells them what to do regarding sins?
John 20:21-23
[21] Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
[22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
[23] If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
