Pee on their toilet seat and not wipe it off…I have 5 boys

Throw a temper tantrum when I’m told that since I chose not to brush my hair for a week I will be getting it cut…I have daughters too.
How about those SHARTS!! Sometimes I opt to just through out their underwear!!lol

I’ve been cracking up at these “paybacks”, but then I realized that I’ll probably do a lot of these things when I get up in years. Not as payback, but as a result of age!🤷

-Walking in one door, leaving it open, and then exit another
-Coming over and turning the TV to This Old House and making them watch stuff the will bore them to tears
-Picking up their cellphone and just start messing with it
-Answering their phone with the words of “What’s up”
-Telling them I am hungry every 5 seconds…even after I just finished a meal

-This one I will do many times, leave the bathroom door open when I have to #1

Aren’t boys the best? lol
My kids need to play with our phones while they are sitting on the toilet with #2.

Or how about when they don’t know what they want to eat, but think if they keep opening the fridge and staring as if something new will appear.
😃

I have a one year old…so I’m not quite there yet…ask me this question in ten years or so.

This thread has totally cracked me up!

My son is 16 with Down syndrome. He’s certainly the usual teenager with all the annoyances involved, but truthfully we pray that somehow he marries and moves into a semi-independent situation (hopefully with Catholic inlaws with lots of younger siblings and cousins who can look out for them as my husband and I are older and without family).

So assuming our dream comes true, and our son marries a nice girl with a disability and they have a little apartment to themselves with help… I pretty much suppose I’ll just collapse in tears of joy. It may take a few strong men to remove me from the scene.

Great thread!

Beautifully said.

I will pray for your sweet boy!! xoxoxo- Jill

One more thing, I am going to answer the phones at their house and tell people they are going number 2!

Once I asked my mother…

“Mom, after you stopped drinking, how did you keep from killing us?”. 😃

Made her day, that one did! 👍

One more thing, I am going to answer the phones at their house and tell people they are going number 2!
Better yet, answer the phone and say, “Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yes, I’m writing it down. Yes, I’ll give him the message. Yes. Yes. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Okay, bye.” Then when they ask who it was, say, “I don’t know. Someone for you.” And when they ask if you took a message say yes, but that you forget what it was.

I will get my hands drenched in melted chocolate. And then decorate their furniture and walls with it.

I will pour milk all over their carpets and beds, secretly. They’ll only know days later, when it really begins to stink.

I will snatch their cellphones when they’re not looking and send strange texts to whole lists of their friends.

I will sneak up to them in bed and jump at them. Or scream. Or pull their hair, laughing. At 2AM. And 4AM. And 6AM.

I will tackle them and ride them as if they were horses. If they say “Stop, it hurts!” I’ll chuckle.

I will bite them and pound them on the heads and then smile innocently.

I’ll draw on their walls and floors with markers. When they ask “What on earth have you done?” I’ll laugh and look pleased with myself and my artwork.

I’ll wipe my mouth and nose on their clean clothes just before they have to go to work.

When their guests arrive, I’ll take their lingerie from the drawers and wear it on my head.

I’ll accompany them to Church and run around, shriek, laugh, try to climb on the altar. You know, the usual. If they try to contain me just a bit, I’ll wail and scream as if they were skinning me.

I will report the most intimate details of any conversation I overhear between them and their spouses to complete strangers and distant family members.

I will take their laptops when they’re doing important work and run away with them, laughing and yelling “Mine!”

I will ask for juice. When they give it to me, I’ll scream “No, milk!” When I get milk, I’ll wail “JUUUUIIIICE!!!” Repeat ad nauseum.

I will open their fridge and ask for “this.” After 15 minutes of showing me every item in the fridge repeatedly, they still won’t have guessed what “this” is. But I will still want it very much.

When they are quietly reading in bed in the morning I will climb in with a sibling. I will start fighting, screaming and laughing and constantly pull all the covers off, both shouting “You are sooooo annoying!” Repeat every Sunday.

When they are Skyping with good friends or relatives I will walk into the bathroom behind them, leave the door open and do what I need to do in full view of the screen.

Risky though.

If my mom did that to me, I’d NEVER visit her again.
If you were as inconsiderate on your visits as they had been on visits to me, she probably would be relieved:D

In any case, it worked. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. 😉

I’m going to make my own superhero costume! I will have a milk jug helmet, wear my underwear over my pants, use a pillow case for my cap, and use their “feminine hygiene” pads for muscles to bulk up my arms. But of course I will wait until their dear friend they haven’t seen in ages is walking in the front door for a visit.

I will drip nail polish remover on their exposed hardwood floors.
I’ll mumble to them, and when they ask what I’ve said because they didn’t catch it, I’ll say, “Oh, never mind.”
When they ask me questions, I’ll accuse them of nagging.

While they are having a well deserved relaxing bath I will wander in wearing a diaper and toss their iPhone in the water.

A friend of mine went on a 3 hour car trip with her two grown up daughters doing the driving, she sat in the back…and…
  • jabbed her knees into the backs of the front seats
  • whined: “are we nearly there?” “when will we get there?” “I wanna go wee” “I’m hungry/thirsty” most of the way
Oh how she enjoyed that trip - in fairness, her daughters appreciated the pay-back value of this short trip.

I will walk in the door & just start throwing things wherever…coat, shoes, socks, purse.

I will sit down to a meal, eat about half of it, state I’m full, then 20 minutes later whine about how hungry I am and “what do we have for dessert?”, then whine some more when I’m told to finish my meal first.

Color on the walls. (That was such an oh so fun phase)

Waste all their paper to make random lists that will just get thrown out.

These may have been mentioned:

Take the clean clothes off the bed and throw them in the hamper because he didn’t want to put them away.

Run through the house naked.

Bolt into the room, throw my arms around my kid and say, “You’re the best kid ever.” :)🙂
