This reminds me of the “What flower are you?” quiz which I took a while back.

I was a sunflower according to the quiz. I remember feeling disappointed that I wasn’t a rose.
 
Let’s not forget flowering trees! This ornamental pear tree is showing off its white flowers outside my balcony.

Dianthus pinks. Grow in my front garden every year! Related to carnation. “Floral lace” says the internets. Some varieties smell like cloves.

In French I’d called them “oeillets”. I just looked that up in English and according to Google translate, it’s “carnation”… ?
