This is St James’ churchyard in 1979 when a great number of starlings where settling in the nearby trees causing quite a mess . The gadget was an attempt to make them fly away .

That Chinese Wisteria is pretty spectacular. Almost as much as a full-blooming Jacaranda. I don’t think there’s any tree on earth quite like it.

Flowering in Autumn and have a purfume,these lily were picked at a rundown old house.Does anyone recognise them ? Also in a pale shade of pink.These are much more delicate than the bright pink Bella Donna’s flowering at present.

This is an Amaryllis Belladonna , Naked Lady . Don’t they grow in shades of pink through to white ?
