Praying for Jim, who has given of his faith and strength to everyone else, even as he battles his own afflictions! May Our Lady throw her mantle over him and give him healing and peace.***

As I told the mass at a presentation on behalf of the annual Catholic Appeal in my Archdiocese, my life hangs by the thread of prayer. I do not take one breath without the Lor’d’s permission. I thank and praise His Holy Name for creating sisters and brothers in Christ who exhibit such profound love of a sinner. A reflection of God’s love of mankind.

I had a series of CT scans Friday to monitor my lymphatic system, and to see if the experimental drug is still effective. I will likely know the results at treatment on Monday. May the Lord continue to bless each and every one of you. Amen!

We lift up in prayer today our friend Jim who continues to carry the Cross with your son Jesus. We thank you for helping him to maintain strong faith, hope, and courage in the promise of your divine providence. We ask for your continued blessings and strength for Jim, and for comfort and consolation from your Holy Spirit for his family who loves him so much. Please bless all these dear people and hear the persistent prayers of your people for Jim in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.

Your prayers, and those of my faithful and loving brothers and sisters in Christ have been answered. The CT scans showed no cancer activity. My life continues to hang by the thread of prayer. I have no anxiety over that slender thread, as it is composed of love, which never fails.

May the Lord continue to smile upon all who devote irreplaceable time to prayer on my behalf. Amen!
