Loving God,

Your will is the path we must follow and your love is the love we must share with your people each day. Please bless our friend Jim and help him to understand and be comfortable with the path you would have him walk. Please continue to give him strength, courage, and an even, positive nature which is such a wonder and blessing to behold. Please hear the prayers of your people on behalf of our friend and his family who cares so much for him. Please comfort this man and his family, and help him to find your joy in his suffering.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.

Than you, thank you, thank you for your continued prayers! Monday was my latest appointment with my oncologist. He is leaning toward keeping me on the medication I am being infused with now, while harvesting my stem cells for later transplant. The harvesting might be done via the implanted line, or it could be done peripherally, through my arms. It is similar to dialysis but, rather than removing impurities, it simply captures the blood’s stem cells. They can be frozen for five years and still have 95% efficacy. The Lord is testing me here, as I am experiencing an increase in peripheral neuropathy, or a deadening of the nerves in hands and feet. I can still type, however! I continue to thank Him for the seamless garment that is my brothers and sisters around this earth who sacrifice in prayer so that I might continue. May God bless each of you in this life and especially in the next. Amen!

Jim, my prayers continued to be with you each and every day! You are such an inspiration to all. I pray that the Lord will continue to be with you and your family and give all of you courage, wisdom and strength as you continue on this journey. May God bless you!

Blessed art Thou among women,and

at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

Oh, Jim. I’ve been away for so long and come back to see such sadness and suffering here, and yet such courage. You are, as always, an inspiration to others. You have been in my prayers all along, and I will redouble my efforts to pray. I’ve been having problems praying, so offer up my own problems as a prayer. Maybe your suffering and need of prayer will be an answer to my prayer of opening up my own prayer life again. You do good always, Jim. God has a special place for you.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.

For po18Guy

Lord Jesus, you came into the world
to heal our infirmities
and to endure our sufferings.
You went about healing all
and bringing comfort
to those in pain and need.
We come before you now
in this time of illness
asking that you may be the source
of our strength in body,
courage in spirit
and patience in pain.
May we join ourselves more closely
to you on the cross
and in your suffering
that through them
we may draw our patience and hope.
Assist us and restore us to health
so that united more closely
to your family, the Church,
we may give praise and honour to your name.

Amen.

Still praying, and Jim, this one always helps me.

The Lord is my Shepherd
I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
He leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul
He leadeth me in paths of rightousness
For His Name’s sake
Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death
I will fear no evil for thou art with me
Thy rod and staff, they comfort me
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
Thou anoinest my head with oil
My cup runneth over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.

Dear Jim, your last post here shows yet more medical intervention and challenge. So much is asked of you. May God give infinitely more good for your suffering and prayer.
