Loving God,

Your will is the path we must follow and your love is the love we must share with your people each day. Please bless our friend Jim and help him to understand and be comfortable with the path you would have him walk. Please continue to give him strength, courage, and an even, positive nature which is such a wonder and blessing to behold. Please hear the prayers of your people on behalf of our friend and his family who cares so much for him. Please comfort this man and his family, and help him to find your joy in his suffering.

Dear Lord, thank you for helping Elsa to recover from the H1N1 flu.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Brothers and sisters, my life continues because of your prayerful support. For that, I can offer only prayer in return that you are storing up treasure in heaven for yourselves through your prayers. I seek guidance from the Lord as I take this next step in my life. I must retire from my employment, since I cannot return to my former capacity. I also must seek the correct next step in my treatment. I know that I am experiencing a bit of a spiritual challenge at this time, but I know that I would not be here even now, but for the Lord’s mercy and His perfect plan for my life. May the Lord continue to bless each of you. Amen.
 
Lord we pray the Jim has wisdom and peace in all his decisions. Be near and encourage him. Holy Spirit speak to our brother clearly and comfort him. In Jesus’ name, Thank you,Amen.

Praise God! The catheter is out of my chest now and the swine flu was more hyperbole than threat. Thanks to your constant and faith-filled prayers, my wife’s symptoms not only stabilized, but moderated and then subsided rather quickly. She was able to accompany me to my treatment yesterday. So, now life will become a little more normal. I still realize that I have a poor chance of surviving five years, but that is discounting God’s grace and the power of prayer. As always, I remind myself that my life is not my own, and that I remain a spirit which has been temporarily given a body. May the Lord be glorified through everything that happens. My life hangs by the thread of prayer. Amen!

We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.

V. Keep us, O Lord, as the apple of Thine Eye,

R. In the shadow of Thy Wings, protect us.
