To sidhe54, jhash1, tbcrawford, wina, mlz, 244rocket and all who are praying: You are my lifeline, and I give thanks for each of you. Through your faithful prayers, I receive the grace to begin each day in thankfulness. Faith and trust bloom during crisis, and so I am asking the Lord to help my unbelief. With the Lord, and the prayers of the faithful, there is nothing which we cannot withstand. May the Lord bless you all with a perpetual blessing in His Kingdom. Amen!
For po18guy…

O Good St. Anne
you who cured the sick
and laid a healing hand upon the lame,
the blind, and the crippled,
look with compassion upon po18guy in his trouble.
If it is not God’s Will to cure him,
give him strength to bear his burden
and offer it up to Him,
who suffered so much for us.
Give po18guy grace to offer his sufferings
in union with Jesus’,
in reparation for all our sins and those of others,
for the needs of this troubled world,
and for the release of the souls in purgatory.

O Good St. Anne, compassionate mother,
pray for your weary child, po18guy.
Amen

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Holy Spirit, come into Jim’s heart; draw it to Thee by Thy power, O my God, and grant him charity with filial fear. Preserve him, O ineffable Love, from every evil thought; warm him, inflame him with Thy dear love, and every pain will seem light to him. My Father, my sweet Lord, help my friend Jim in all his actions. Jesus, love, Jesus, love. Amen.

Our battle is on our knees…in prayer for you and your wife daily.

Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed by Thy name
Thy kingdom come Thy will be done
on earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us
and lead us not unto temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Loving God,

We lift up our intentions for Jim, your son who has endured much hardship and many trials, and has remained faithful and courageous in the face of suffering. Please help our friend to make the best choice for his family in this most recent development, and grant him continued trust in your divine providence. Lord, you love Jim and his family, and you will provide in his time of uncertainty and need. Please bless all the members of this family during this time of possible anxiety and concern, while they also deal with many other health related issues.

As John the Baptist taught us in the Gospel according to St. John 3:30, “He must increase, I must decrease”. Our Lord loves dear Jim and is forming him through this difficult and challenging time in his life.

We lift our prayers in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

Again, I thank God for prayer warriors! I managed to get my employer to allow me until June 30th before I “retire”. I will lose my medical coverage and 40% of my pay, but God has never failed to provide. I will be covered under my wife’s health insurance policy. I know that He will provide work for me, as he provided this work when I was looking so long ago (in human terms). Anyway, the faith that I have gained is in need of testing, so, here we go!

God bless each of you, my brothers and sisters.

Loving God please continue to bless and support, and to deepen the faith and spirituality of Jim and his family.
We praise and thank You for all Your past and present graces to Jim’s family.

St. Alphonsus De Liguori’s Conclusion to a Short Treatise on Prayer

Let us pray, then, and let us always be asking for grace, if we wish to be saved. Let prayer be our most delightful occupation; let prayer be the exercise of our whole life. And when we are asking for particular graces, let us always pray for the grace to continue to pray for the future; because if we leave off praying we shall be lost. There is nothing easier than prayer. What does it cost us to say, Lord, stand by me! Lord, help me! give me Thy love! and the like? What can be easier than this? But if we do not do so, we cannot be saved. Let us pray, then, and let us always shelter ourselves behind the intercession of Mary: “Let us seek for grace, and let us seek it through Mary,” says St. Bernard. And when we recommend ourselves to Mary, let us be sure that she hears us and obtains for us whatever we want. She cannot lack either the power or the will to help us, as the same saint says: “Neither means nor will can be wanting to her.” And St. Augustine addresses her: “Remember, O most pious Lady, that it has never been heard that any one who fled to thy protection was forsaken.” Remember that the case has never occurred of a person having recourse to thee, and having been abandoned. Ah, no, says St. Bonaventure, he who invokes Mary, finds salvation; and therefore he calls her “the salvation of those who invoke her.” Let us, then, in our prayers always invoke Jesus and Mary; and let us never neglect to pray.

Lord please continue to grant stable health to Jim and thankyou for providing solutions for his health care.Be with him in his daily life that he will know YOur love for him.Through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen

Dear Jim, Please know that although I won’t be posting for awhile you will always be in my prayers:gopray2:

Romans 8:38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” - John 14:1-3

Good St. Dymphna, you placed all your hope in Christ’s promises, and sacrificed even your life in that hope. The Lord, God, rewarded your constancy by making your name known and loved over many centuries by the thousands whom you have aided in time of difficulty. Please assist JIM now in his present necessity, and intercede before God for his intentions. Obtain for him a firm hope like your own in God’s unfailing protection. Amen.

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen
