The Pastor yes, That’s appropriate. The Bishop or the Chancery offices? NO.
Indeed. Such things do happen and different people respond in different ways. What if he really was having a vision or some kind of encounter?..
I don’t think you have anything to feel guilty about.I felt kind of guilty for being upset.
Even the evil one believes in God. I’m sorry, but it sounds so evil and sinister.“ The Lord is here! I can see him!”…“ Look at me! Look at me! I didn’t believe! I doubted now I believe! You are here!”… “ Hurra! Hurrah!”. “ This is not an invitation from me, but from my Father”.
I think April is just misinterpreting what a protestant church is. Mostly, they are liturgical churches that follow a specific Lectionary order, just like Catholics. Most use the same readings for the same Sunday; just the name of the seasons are different, e.g. Ordinary Time vs. X Sunday after Pentecost, etc. What was witnessed by April would be seen in those types of communities.Hey now, not all Protestants are like this. I still attend my Baptist church and we’re pretty low-key about everything, aside from an “amen” or “praise God” here and there.![]()
