The true test.
Go to a Moslem country where Islam rules, say Saudi Arabia or Syria, and practice your Christian faith, maybe do a little proselytizing, and see first hand how much the Quran teaches about love.
 
Tom these are not isalmic countries. Forget the christains, they torture and abuse fellow muslims. they are countries ruled by men who want power and they will do anything it takes to stay in power. And before you start complaining, the US is the main supporters of these evil regimes that cause suffering.

Publish your list of Islamic countries.
 
There are NO islamic countries that fully practice the law of islam.
And just because a country is majority muslim it is not atuomatically islamic or any thing close to it. Italy is where the vatican is and the country is very secular ( they have the lowest birthrates in all of europe, young peole are putting off marriage and living common-law, I am assuming birthcontroll and premarital sex is not allowed by vatican standards).

IRA is a marxist organisation, is agree with abortion in Ireland, not is catholic, and we all know that the Holy Catholic Church are against killings, in addition, IRA don´t kill for catholicism but Ireland.

You said that jihad not means that, and well, there are a unique opinion between muslims, where are this interpretation? the muslims have free interpretation of the Koran like protestants have of the Bible. And well interpreting the Koran, plenty of burning sentences.
I have read 100 pages of the Koran, and I remember several sentences, for example, “you don´t have christians and jews´friends”. Or the refusing of the divinity of Christ, of their resurrection, crucifixcion and other things, or beating women.

I am sad of all these things, I am sad that the people try to comprehend an incomprehensible thing, when we bash nazism or communism, we don´t want to kill communists or nazis but we know that have an evil doctrine.

Reporting the truth about Islam with references from its “real sources”, the quran, is considered “ignorance, lies and hate” by the muslims.

Ironically, and no wonder… That what Islam is all about: Ignorance, lies and hate!

No apologies for exposing Islam, from its quran… Unless you are denying your “holy source” of islam, and consequently denying islam!

You are an unusual Catholic. I only read / heard comments like yours regarding Islam from Protestants and Born Again Christians. You seem to hate Islam and Muslims alot. Have you forgotten the Christian teaching : “** Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God”** ?

Let me get this straight. There are no Islamic countries. Moreover, those countries that claim to be and cry out that Allah supports their actions aren’t really Islamic but American stooge countries. I will grant you that the West has supported far too many countries in the Middle East in part to keep the oil flowing. But why do we support Egypt? There’s very little oil there. Why do we support Jordan? There is very little oil there. Why do we support Pakistan? I don’t know of any oil there.

I’m in full agreement that we should stop buying any oil from Saudi Arabia. In fact, it seems to me that we ought to withdraw support for and embargo trade with every country in the Middle East. Let them fight it out until the strongest remains standing which I presume would be Israel.

Then I see that you disagree with USCatholic on the assumption that the Qur’an itself doesn’t represent true Islam. If the Qur’an doesn’t represent true Islam what does?

I’m sure you would agree that passion for your faith is a good thing - we should, however, be passionate without forgetting the virtue of temporance. We may be zealous, but we should not be overcome by our emotions. I hope he won’t discourage you from listening with an open heart and seeking to understand what we say.

  1. the US does what it feels is in it’s best interests, this is the same for ever nation on earth. I don’t know why they support these countries, by it is probably to their advantage
  2. to follow islam, a muslim’s source is the Quran and the sunnah( this is sayings or actions of God’s messenger(pbuh) beacuse he practiced what the Quran preaches)
  3. Ryan, please don’t be upset with deen, in islam when one muslim sees another muslim doing something that is displeasing to God, they are cammanded to correct them in the most kindest manner possible. beacuse on the day of judgement you could be held acountable for not teaching them the right way. also muslims consider ourselves viel to each other, we cover up the mistakes ( as long as they are not grave sins), simple human mistakes of one another and not expose them, and on the day of judgement, God will cover up your mistakes for you when you are being judged. I believe that may be the reason why he said what he said, if i am mistaken i fully take this statement back and seek deen’s forgiveness.
