This month will be another Blood Moon. Some Christians believe this is a sign the end of the world is near.
Do Catholics believe that?

The Bible does refer to a blood moon Joel 2:31 RSV The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. The problem with these predictions is they don’t go back and look at how blood moons referred to in the Bible actually occurred. For instance Peter on Pentecost in Acts Acts 2:19-22 RSV And I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and manifest day. 21 And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ 22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know-- They saw a partial lunar eclipse near the horizon. It is the atmospheric extinction that reddens the sun and moon near the horizon. This month will be another Blood Moon
Are you sure you want to use such technical philosophical terms in a forum geared to all educational levels?goofy
This is one of the reasons why I like being a Catholic. One has resources to discern Truth from fantasy.Blood moons happen All. The. Time. There is nothing spiritual about them, except in their beauty
