While this may be close to the truth…it is also true that Baptists make up a large percentage of converts to the Catholic Church…so go figure! As one of those former baptists and a convert to the CC…I can mention that during my association with the baptists I never saw anything in writting that might resemble a “catechism” and their doctrine seemed a little off the cuff, depending on the preacher speaking. The only important doctrine of theirs which seemed to have a theme worth repeating (by a preacher) was OSAS and, in fairness, the emphasis on Christ…(without the Church He founded, of course)
