“Over the hill” in Aussie means…old in years. I am 63years old almost
“Round the bend” here means…crazy. I suffer Bipolar

     Here in Australia we have all these expressions that we just take for granted, everyone knows (we have lots of tourists here and we certainly are absolutely multi-cultural happily)........when often in fact with our diverse nationalities, these expressions are totally confusing to them and many interpret literally and then are totally and fully confused:D .  We can forget cultural divides.

Hey I took what you wrote jokingly and in good humor, I was over joyed that you took what I wrote jokingly. In NZ we take…
" over the hill" either as you meant and or a short distance away, which is what I meant.
“around the bend” is I suppose a saying I use from a song by Creadence clear water “come on around the bend”, which is a joyful saying that you are not too fare away.
I know you live south but I thought it was souwest, or below Syd.
Either way it is very comforting for me to know your where a bouts, I feel strongly the bond of God’s love radiating to and fro from your presence to here. And that is what gives me joy.

South Australia is on the bottom of a map of Australia. Sydney is on the east coast. Gosh, I hope my geography is ok

I used to have this lovely framed poem here, which I gave away to someone. The poem was superimposed over a picture of Jesus with His arms wide.
…there were a couple of lines that ran…“and I will be with you as you round the bed”.

That is why I bought it. Because “round the bend” means to go nutty …and I sure had gone round the bend at the time of purchase and it was most comforting to read that in my nuttiness , Jesus was with me.

The reading for today, LO, was posted last night, Sth. Aust. time. Sunday 5th. October here at the moment, l0.02pm…I posted later today for tomorrow, Monday 6th. October, as I was out all afternoon until about 6.30pm, duty called. Trust you have caught up with the meditation you are seeking by the time I post this. I hope you can decipher my Adelaide accent and lingo All in good fun, Wayne!..and on a day here of great celebration, not only the Sabbath and The Day of The Resurrection, but the Optional Memorial of St. Faustina and the message of Divine Mercy…although Sundays take precedence over an Op.Mem., although I am sure Jesus would not object if we recall to mind St. Faustina and His Divine Mercy on His special day of days in the week…and a day of rest and celebration spiritually and also humanly to honour and remember He who became Truly Man and human, while yet Truly God, Who Is Spirit.

Tar GAM … new UNaka for you too! Tar for the compliment! Yeah, bonza day ere 2. I am suprised, bowled over, infact…yer meen it wasn’t cold and grey, overcast and raining in Melbourne? Gosh, blow me down with a feather if that is a fact! Beer here was restricted and buddies were actually bonzer too. Nahh no cats or kangas for this SouthAussier, give me crows any and every day…wadda ya mean, stone the crows!..typical cats and kangas if yer ask mee!!!

Hey, you still there, Wayne…A very happy birthday ineed to your Dad…and my very happy returns to him. What a wonderful tour of duty he has put in…84 years! WOW!!! And will keep him in daily prayer.
