Thousands of Religious Leaders Voice Concerns About HHS Mandate

Over 2,500 religious leaders have signed a letter to President Obama calling for the reversal of the HHS-mandated insurance coverage of contraception because it “essentially ignores the conscience rights of many Catholic and Protestant Americans.”

There have been numerous rulings against individual Christians and churches that have had a lot of success. Now they are going after the Catholic church which is by far the largest most powerful religious organization in America, I assume the Protestant ministers realize that if the Catholics can be defeated all the rest will be easy prey. A precedent is being set. It is NOT about contraception but about control. Once the Catholic church is defeated future presidents will be able to exercise authority over all churches, clubs , organization, unions and probably families.

I do not feel comfortable with this thought but I do see parallels with 1930s Germany. There was support for euthenasia, abortion, occultism, control of churches, etc.

Many commentators have said that the Catholic Church is the only religious organization standing in the way of complete control of the government over these objectionable practices such as contraception, euthanasia, stem cell research, gay rights etc. Take the Catholic Church down and there goes all individual freedom!
 
I hope and pray that this unconstitutional law/mandate is overturned as soon as possible. I also hope and pray that someone replaces Obama in the upcoming elections.

On today’s episode of “The Vortex” on RealCatholicTV.com Michael Voris is reporting from the Philippines and the Bishops there are quite concerned about the American Influence on their parishoners which is NOT GOOD and they are concerned about another term of Obama because he is influencing the Philippines in negative ways by trying to push abortion, gay rights, contraception, etc down the throats of Philippine’s faithful. They showed a clip where mass was actually being held in a shopping mall because the Catholic churches are so jam packed. (Imagine that happening here!) The Philippines has the biggest Catholic population in Asia. They need our prayers to stave off Obama and his agenda!
