Hello lets have a thread where single people can talk. I will start.

I am 30 years old and I am eligible
to marry in the Catholic church, because I have never been married.
I like good movies, and listening to music. I was raised to be very active in church so I am interested
in being active in the parish.

I am an ex jehovah’s witness, and I plan on coming home this easter
YEA!!! I am very exited about EVERYTHING in the Catholic faith, its all so new and refreshing!
I have always wanted to be married but the Jehovah’s witnesses don’t realy promote marriage, they wanted me to stay single and so I did. But I feel called
to family life.

I am 47, a man and a convert to the Catholic Church from atheism. My pic, home and other info are on my profile.

I am a gentleman and I hope to meet a nice Catholic woman who knows how to be a lady. I love the outdoors and and my hobbies include woodworking, landscape and nature photography, camping and studying my Catholic faith. I tend to be rather politically conservative. I follow all the teachings of the Church and would never do anything that would separate myself from Holy Mother Church. I am involved in pro-life activities and I also greatly admire Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

Well I don’t like many country songs, some are ok though.
I have always wanted to go to an opera but have never been.

So what are you looking for in a guy?

Cool well we have a few here that are close in age.

Sierra and rpp, it seems you are in
the same age group…the 40’s.

Also we have pureza and turbo stock who are EXACTLY the same age.

How do we all feel about distance?
Personaly I know long distance can be hard, but if things get serious one can always move.

So distance can be an issue, also pics…we should be ready at some point to show pics to someone you are interested in. Because its not good to talk to someone for a week, only to stop when you see a pic LOL
So may as well get pics and the distance thing discused early.

Also just be honest, don’t say your he man or wounder woman if your
not.

:rotfl: I love typos, especially when they actually make real words!

I have been wounded by some of the women I have dated in the past. Although I would personally like to know if a woman considers herself wounder woman.

I tend to be pretty conservative, but with a ton of compassion. It’s all about grace.

I’m a music teacher, working on a doctorate (see signature).

I seem to be a strange mixture of “tough as nails” and completely sensitive – I cried when my students sang the Horton song this afternoon (“a person’s a person no matter how small”) and I am WAY too sensitive to be on a singles site. How much rejection can my little ego take? 😛

I’m totally goofy, playful, joyful, high-spirited AND deeply prayerful, reflective, contemplative (spent two years in a Benedictine monastery), and a good listener.

Gotta go get ready for a music program tonight!

I am 23, male, single, and hoping my LDR works out - if God wills me to marry my girlfriend.

I won’t post a pic, because that’s dangerous (“what goes online, stays online”). But I could tell you who I look like: A cross between Harry Potter and Alfie.

My interests are many: prayer, study of the Catholic faith, cooking, video games, family, friends, camping, Root Beer Floats, anime and manga, cartoons, books, films, classical and rock music, old cars, sweet foods, web design, and writing and drawing.

I spent 3 years in what is probably the equivalent but my old denomination.

I want to hear all about it!

Yes I had that experience as a Jw.
I worked at there world headquarters, its the closest thing Jw’s have to a monestary. It wasent the greatest experience in the world…but its how I found out
that Jehovah’s witnesses are NOT the true church.
 
Hello!

Let’s see… I just turned 27 not quite two months ago and have been a Catholic since birth. Never married, never have had a boyfriend, actually. I’m currently going to school and am studying meteorology. I’m also an artist and enjoy cooking and baking (especially cakes!), along with being outdoors.

I tend to not take things too seriously and have a good sense of humor and am pretty easy going.

I’m not sure what else to say 😊
