Johannesburg, South Africa, Mar 11, 2009 / 08:35 pm (CNA).- Three priests have been killed in Africa during the last week, according to Fr. Chris Townsend spokesman for the South African Bishops. This kind of violence only proves that disciples of Christ have it just as difficult as the ancient martyrs of old. They too died with the crown of a martyr. May God bless them and reward them in heaven for their selfless sacrifice serving the people of Africa.
Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord. And may perpetual light shine upon them…and upon their grieving families and congregations.
