I sure hope you see the light now!
But, are you saying in the bolded above, (these prophesys) are the ones you’ve been pushing as the TDoD?
Three Days of Darkness?

(Hello!

Does traditional Catholicism have a belief in the End Time “Three Days of Darkness”?
Growing up, my Catholic-born mother loved to rant and rave about how there would be three days of darkness before Christ’s return, when one wasn’t suppose to look out the window and only blessed candles could be lit, and how anyone caught outside would be killed by roaming demons.
Thanks!

I was showing web sites that Pertained to this POST !!!

I’m sorry if I miss read your posts on this thread. The only time I’ve read about those “3 days of darkness” were on websites such as you posted. Not knowing how old your mother is, but if she was raised in the 50’s and especially in a Catholic school taught by nuns as I was, there is no telling what she might have heard. I remember back then (7 or 8th.grade) in a confessional telling the priest of a couple of things I was told by those nuns & he said to ignor anything they taught outside of the Catechism.

Ok, I guess all we need to know is the truth, but sometime we pick though bits, and pieces, and try to put it all together some how.🙂

Yes, my Mom got the Pope Leo XIII prophesy, mix up with the Fatima prophesy.

NOT IN THE TDOD PROPHECY. Will you just click on one of the links given and read it?
These Prophecy give details about certain parts of the end of the world ,you have put them together. to get a whole picture, just like the Bible.

Some The Prophecy you have read come from this book amazon.com/Catholic-Prophecy-Yves-Dupont/dp/0895550156] I have had this book from TAN for 15 years, the web only has some of the Prophecys, do you really think TAN BOOKS would put out a book like this if they thought it was nonsense ?

I’ve already posted what it says about the aftermath of the TDoD.

Yves Dupont hardly concerns himself with substantiating his theories. Details, details! Yes, I do think that TAN published a book like that and, unfortunately, they don’t think it to be nonsense.

You just said that the “prophecy” I quoted was in the book. Again, it’s inconsistent with Catholic teaching on the Second Coming. In fact, it’s contrary. The Second Coming is the final destination for humanity. There is no aftermath of working the land, living without factories, there will be no new pope, etc.

So you either have to say #1 the TDoD is not the Second Coming or #2 that you are ignoring Catholic teaching on the Second Coming so that you can keep saying that the TDoD is the Second Coming or #3 that the TDoD is not the Second Coming (then you can no longer use the 2 Peter 3 to explain the TDoD. Which is it?

Sorry but this is getting very tedious. It’s in this book so it can’t be wrong just isn’t a good enough answer. There are far too many inconsistencies, contradictions and private interpretations of Bible verses with this so-called prophecy. I’m still waiting for you to explain where the demons show up to kill everyone in the Bible verses you try to say are the TDoD.

Hopefully I’ll have a happier perspective in the morning.🤷

“Techno” gives away the problem when he asks where he can find ALL the details about the end times.

Sorry, no luck, we don’t have them. Don’t need them.

The Three Days of Darkness prophecy is, I am increasingly convinced, inimical to Catholicism.
