“Techno” needs an education in apocalyptic literature, to be sure, but he also needs an education in the difference between cardinal numbers and ordinal numbers.

yes may be I do what are they ?

You keep posting this link. What’s the point? It says nothing as to the prophecies that have been posted during this thread. Start a post one and start clicking on the links. You’ll then see the “prophecy” we have been speaking of. And yes, even an article by Yves has been posted. You still haven’t dealt with the inconsistencies and contradictions.
Can you give a answer to post #555 ?

PS I have to go to work now, talk later 🙂

No, the quotes you posted are most certainly not “The Three Days of Darkness” garbage that has been peddled on these fora.

:doh2: If the Church has declared that this verse means that it will be dark then it will (however, I don’t think it has). This verse doesn’t even say 3 days. This absolutely doesn’t mean that this is the Three Days of Darkness as “prophesized” in the many links given in this thread. This doesn’ t mean that there will be demons running around killing anyone. This doesn’t mean that blessed candles will be the only thing that gives off light. This doesn’t mean that all of the godless will be killed and the rest will live and work the earth like in the 1800s, etc., etc., etc. None of this is what the CHURCH teaches about the Second Coming. And most contradicts Church teaching in general.

Nobody here denies the Second Coming. Some of us do deny self interpretation of scripture because, well, it goes against Church teaching.🤷

The notion that the godless will be wiped out during the Three Days of Darkness seems to contradict the Word of God:

Matthew 13:24-29

**24Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
27"The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28" ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
"The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29" ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ "**

The wheat (i.e. the godly) and the weeds (i.e. the godless) are to coexist until the Second Coming of Christ. There is no mention of them being wiped out before the coming of Christ.

Honestly, this notion of demons coming out of hell to kill people for three days sounds more like something out of a Wes Craven or Stephen King movie than a “prophecy.”

God Bless,
Michael

“…demons killing people?..” I am not well-versed on this topic but I do not remember “killing” will be the mission of the demons; frightening, menacing; perhaps, but not “killing.” It would be more like experiencng the ambiance of Hell but not "killing:

I think the arguments of those that do not accept this prophesy has gravitated to “killing.” One minute in Hell is unbearable.🙂

That’s not true. I have spent much time of the supposed “aftermath”. And you bring up yet another point I’ve mentioned. The “prophecies” themselves are inconsitent with each other!

Did you know that St.Padre Pio said that, he was “Physically” attack by demons many times ?

Again, I must agree with Alex and I can assure you that it doesn’t sit well with either of us.😉

Did you read the article I posted by Fr. Amorth on the powers of the devil?

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. (Mat 13:41)
Code:
And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Mat 24:31)
And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home – these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. (Jude 1:6)

They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. (Rev 16:14)

Isaiah 37:36 says, “Then the angel of the LORD went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning - there were all the dead bodies!

And? I’m just going to say the same thing over and over again. Where is the CHURCH teacing on these verses? Catholics don’t privately interpret scripture.

There is no teaching by Catholic Church about the End
of the World.

Am I seeing double???

What exactly doesn’t sit
well with you, Alex and Bear for God sakes???
That we agree. We try to avoid it if at all possible.

It’s just a joke. No need to bring up Our Lord. We were bound to agree at one time or another. I still personally think this is THE sign of the Second Coming. :rotfl:

As a Catholic, you might want to see what the Church says on this matter. It doesn’t.
