Three things an omnipotent God can do

I have been thinking about these three things, that an omnipotent God can do, that seem related, and that it seems that less than an omnipotent God could not do, and that seem to answer all objections from atheists or others who doubt God’s power.

1. To bring Being out of Nothingness. (Creatio ex Nihilo.)
2. To bring Life out of Death. (Resurrection.)
3. To bring Good out of Evil. (Omnipotence and the answer to the Arguments from Evil.)

Thoughts. . .?

With respect, I don’t think an atheist is going to pack it in just because we say “This is what omnipotence means, therefore an omnipotent God exists.”

Great subjects for reflection, though.

I AM Who AM. He can just “Be” whether or not He orders anything to occur. He depends upon no one and nothing else. He is the Independent.

As to those who deny Him, they have not always been, nor will they always be.

Psalm 103:15-16

As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.

Do they thus appoint themselves god of their micro universe?

This is great to hear & v. true about God. And the most wonderful thing, is He will do this for us if we ask.
