Does it still have to say “Thus Saith the Lord” in order to be considered valid in some way?

Mormon apologetics and discussion board.

It can be quite entertaining, but I have never found anything of real substance.

I’m a member but haven’t posted anything to get the ball rolling yet. Once I do, it’ll take up a lot of my time because I’ll get attacked from every side. I can take it, but it requires a lot of determination and time.

I’m a member too, and haven’t posted either.

I just look around for the entertainment value, which there is alot of over there.

It seems anytime a thread with any substance gets started, it, or the poster, or both gets shut down.

That is one thing I like about this forum. There is a great exchange of information, even if it does get heated once in a while.

I just can’t understand why our lds posters don’t want to address this.

Is it too hard of a question?

They simply take the church’s word for it because otherwise, the whole thing falls apart.

We know that it only takes one murder to make a man a murderer and one a lie to make him a liar. So how many false prophecies does it take to make one a false prophet? Joseph Smith maintains his perfect 0% accuracy rating ene to this day and yet he’s considered a ‘prophet.’ That must mean that their standards are very, very low for prophetic reliability. Adolph Hitler stated that the Reich was entitled to the breadbasket of the Soviet Union, the Ukraine. Since we know that Germany invaded Russia and held that region, does that mean that he was a prophet, too?
