By Peter J. SmithMOBILE, Alabama, January 26, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - College football superstar Tim Tebow is standing fast behind a pro-life ad developed by Focus on the Family and set to air on CBS on Super Bowl Sunday.

The pro-abortion forces will try anything to shut us up. From an article on Fox:
“This organization is extremely intolerant and divisive and pushing an un-American agenda,” said Jehmu Greene, director of the Women’s Media Center, which is coordinating a campaign to force CBS to pull the ad before it airs on Feb. 7.
“Abortion is very controversial, and the anti-abortion vitriol has resulted in escalated violence against reproductive health providers and their patients,” Greene said. “We’ve seen that clearly with the murder of Dr. George Tiller,” the late-term abortion provider who was gunned down in his Kansas church in May 2009.

What is WRONG with some people? How can anyone be so in favor of something so evil?

A lot of people have vested interests in it, unfortunately, pressure groups, *healthcare *providers. Not that I will see the ad in Ireland, but I hope CBS don’t get bullied into repressing freedom of speech.

I faxed the women’s group in question and told them I told CBS I supported their decision to run the ad, and I thought they should know.

The fact that CBS will even consider airing it speaks volumes to me.

I think that the pro-abortion forces are running scared, and have really shown their true colors with the wild rhetoric they have been throwing about. This link contains more of the same: reuters.com/article/idUSN2612635220100126

The part that really got me was this quote from the same Women’s Media Center quoted in the original article: “It (the ad) uses one family’s story to dictate morality to the American public, and encourages young women to disregard medical advice, putting their lives at risk,” (italics and emphasis mine.)

Clearly, pro-abortion forces want no one else’s voice heard; this is all about keeping pro-lifers under wraps and silenced.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see one of the remaining available Super Bowl ads touting the virtues of “choice”.

The Tebow’s can easily make a feel good story. What I want to see is the pro aborts making a feel good story. It would probably feature the nice house they now have because they have one less mouth to feed and mom doesn’t have to take maternity leave.

BTW, with my daughter’s last pregnancy an ultrasound indicated the possibility of a heart defect so the doctor suggested an abortion, just like aspirin for your head. He probably has no morals and was practicing defensive medicine. A healthy little guy was delivered,
but not by that doctor.

I wonder if it’s a coincidence that the Saints first ever Super Bowl apperance will feature an ad that’s more important than the game.

I think that is because they dont want to be exposed. the evil rather work in silent. when exposed they try to silent our voices. this reminds us of how dangerous they are.

Greene is narrow-minded. Her idea of America is skewed by selling her soul for the sake of Moloch. When one is willing to commit human sacrifice on the altar of convenience and prosperity, it is no wonder that they lose the ability to even remember the simple things, like what rights are protected in the First Amendment. (hint, Greene, it ain’t abortion).

WOW! What a miracle!

“It (the ad) uses one family’s story to dictate morality to the American public, and encourages young women to disregard medical advice, putting their lives at risk” said Jehmu Greene, director of the Women’s Media Center.

“Medical advice?” To murder a perfectly healthy baby is medical advice?? i thought Doctors were sworn to save lives?? Sounds more like the Hippocrates’ Oath than the Hippocratic Oath, “First, do no harm!”

'Putting their lives at risk?", so a mother should kill her beautiful, innocent baby because her life may be at risk?? Whatever happened to total self giving Agape Love???

To paraphrase Archbishop Sheen, **“The Truth is always the Truth, even if no one believes it & lies are always lies, even if everyone believes them!”
**
Jesus said it better; “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him.” (Jn 8:44)

i am just amazed at the loud chorus of ‘intellectual’ voices including our President & First Lady, constantly spewing their clever slogans, “women’s reproductive health care, right to privacy, dictating morality, encouraging young women to disregard medical advice, putting their lives at risk…”, all designed to mask the American Holocaust, 50 million babies murdered by abortion since Roe v. Wade!

At the pearly gates, when they line up the worst Mass Murders in history, Hitler, 6 million Jews murdered, Stalin, 20 million murdered, Mao, 50? million murdered, for their final judgment, those of us who did little or nothing to stop this “legal” atrocity going on every day in our towns & on our streets, will be first in line to answer Jesus when He asks us;

"What did you do to save these least of my children???

“Mercy!” is all i’ll be able to groan.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Actually, I have to wonder if they are worried about it, but not because it’s moralizing or preaching, but rather that it shows that a happy healthy adult results 20 years later when one doesn’t abort. Think about it - that person standing there might never have been, had his mother had an abortion. I know it’s a very sobering thought to think about someone you know not being around because of a “choice” on the part of the mother (and I do also know someone whose mother was pressured to have an abortion but refused, and I’m very thankful for her courage). This kind of witness is more powerful than any rhetoric they can put out, and they definitely don’t want millions experiencing it.
