Here is the thing. See Roe v Wade gave states the ability to say after certain trimesters if abortion is okay. That is due to how likely something will survive outside of the mother. To be blunt a baby is a parasite to the mother. It drains nutrients and can cause health problems for the mother. So in the first trimester the zygote is not able to survive on its own and is not a person. Second trimester it might but it might not. Third it probably can. This is for the law as there wasn’t time for a deep debate on when life begins during the trial.

Now back to transgender. Every human starts as “female” and then may develop the Y chromosome. That is why humans with their plumbing on the outside have things that are rather useless where as those with plumbing on the inside have them. Of course there is a chance of XXY and other types. It isn’t as black and white. That is why a person may be born and assigned a gender at birth but may not be that gender,

All life is equal is it? Plants, bacteria, dogs, humans? You see the same relationship between God and man as between God and bacteria? 🤷 That line falls fairly flat I think Kate.
 
I have seen “Silent Scream” when I was in high school. Late term abortions are very rare and usually occur when the mother’s life is in grave danger. That movie is a horrible scare tactic.

Take a think on this. Okay so Yahweh made a man out of dirt/dust in the creation myth. For some reason Yahweh thought this man was lonely so put him to sleep and taking a rib created woman. Few problems. Biggest is that if it were true all Yahweh did was clone the man, same genetic information so XY chromosomes. The ancient Jewish people has no idea how people gave birth or how they came about via evolution. So the creation myth was made to tell how humans came to be. Another problem is Yahweh, supposedly all knowing, should have made female along side male. In Genesis 1 that is the case but Genesis 2 says otherwise.

No one disputes biologically troubled cases. But identifiable biological ‘mistakes’ as you identify here are not present in the majority of those suffering a dysphoria and/or wishing to transition. The latter are in most cases readily assigned a sex of either “boy” or “girl”. Those for whom these descriptors are not readily assigned very few in number.

OK, but I wonder what you think that last sentence strictly means? As rare as it may be, there are individuals that we do not know how to classify. Things go wrong.
 
Okay but it was an option for her life. Again a very low percentage of abortions are late term.

@Wonder: How are they quacks? Please explain.

@Rau: I agree it is a low number but still a number. A person with dysphoria just doesn’t “feel” right in their own body. I get my morals from empathy 🙂

No. That’s not what your reference says. It says that the visible sign of sex are not expressed till then. Which sperm cell (one with an X or Y chromosome) joins with the egg is - in the normal sequence of events - the determiner of sex. And that happens at conception.

Yes, but they aren’t normal healthy humans who have fallen for the blasphemous Gnostic concept of modern gender theory and believe they are actually the opposite sex because their mind, a much more easily fallible reality than the real, physical body, thinks so.

If you are a man who thinks he’s supposed to be a woman, you need to suppress and abhor those thoughts.
